Please could someone pray for my daughter who is suffering greatly from on going migraine headaches. Medication is having little affect and she is finding life tuff. She is only 12 years old and has been in hospital several times with this problem. She has been unable to attend school for the last week with her current headache. I have no answers so its very hard to watch someone suffer
Many thanks, William

Have prayed...

I suffer from migraines as well. Some are worse than others. Have you ever taken her to a chiropractor? There are times when my migraines are helped by an adjustment to my back. Not saying that's the problem, but it's an idea. Also, I have problems with my eyes, and the migraines will increase in intensity the closer the time comes to getting new glasses.

An old time home remedy: Have her drink some caffeine (diet coke has helped me) and then lie down in a dark room with a cloth that is dampened by apple cider vinegar on her forehead. Don't know what the vinegar does (it works sometimes, but not always), but the caffeine opens the veins to let the blood flow easier to ease the headache a little.

I'm praying for her.

This may sound really odd, but I use it all the time and it rarely fails to work. Press firmly on the flesh just above the toenail on each of her big toes. It'll hurt, but give it a firm, rolling press about ten times each toe and it should bring temporary (15 mintues to an hour) relief. This is the reflexology points for migraines. My wife has somewhat severe scoliocis and reflexology has got her through many times when her back hurt her terribly.

:pray Nothing hurts worse than seeing your child suffer and not being able to help.

PS - If it helps I can vouch for the power of prayer in this regard - my daughter has had cancer for 5 years - it's went into remission after the doctors gave up.
