Trish and I decided that Jenna and Andrew should not get married. Their kids would have serious issues. :duh

Anyway please continue to pray for Andrew's hives (if that's what they are...they last a little longer than real hives and leave shadowy marks behind). His dermatologist seems helpful and he prescribed a strong steriod cream yesterday that really seems to help (strong, but safer than oral steriods), but its only temporary. We have to work on getting an appointment down with the pediatric doctors at Children's Hospital. However the soonest appt is late March. An appt with another pediatric dr at another hospital would be sometime in January. However we can keep calling the March one every week to check for cancellations. His dermatologist would like him to be seen hopefully after only one month so it would be awesome if God would work out a cancellation to where we can get in much earlier than March (because I'd prefer to get him into a dr at Children's Hospital rather than the other one) and continue trying to find out what is wrong with him. Its been five months now and we really have no clue what could be the problem (it goes alot deeper than laundry soap or food or allergies, which he has no allergies that they could find.)

Thanks for praying for both Trish's and my little kiddos....

Called Monday for cancellations and they had one for yesterday!

So went in...Dr. Kara Shah (you can finda lot of credentials for her online, and articles written by her). Didn't find out too much except what we already kind of figured, its just some kind of overactive immune reaction that will have to calm down over time...meaning months to years, possibly as many as 3-5 years, who knows. She changed his meds and he will be going back in a month.

I have one or two more questions that I forgot to ask but otherwise I guess this is just one of those things to deal with. Hopefully his will go away, I'd rather him not be one that keeps these things throughout his school years.

Thanks for praying.

I've heard of kids and older people as well that develop an adverse reaction to refined (cane) sugar. This is one of the many reasons why I use honey as much as possible.

What I found to be so ironic was that the reaction did not show up soon, but took a while to develop.
