The RCC bestow the moniker of "Saint" on the 3 angels named in the Bible. I have no clue where you're coming from - an AI response? This has nothing to do with Catholicism. I don't even think Catholic's believe in the rapture! Edited August 14, 2023 by Muckah

I have several nieces and nephews who are RC, and my father was raised in the RCC. In reference to the AI... artificial intelligence... sounds like something I just got off of ChatGPT, which I checked after reading your response. If Catholics do believe in rapture - I can't imagine it to be pre-trib.

Instead of just saying 'wrong again', why don't you just smarten up and explain! Explain!!! I jam with a bunch of Catholics. NOT ONE has ever said anything about pre-trib! In fact, I'm from a large family of Catholics and have never heard one of them mention RAPTURE. Catholics believe in the return of Jesus but the rapture part is seldom mentioned. I don't find that hard to believe. There are many who are secular Catholics, and then there are sects of evangelical Catholics, which is what my many nephews and nieces are. My father was raised as a secular Catholic but became evangelical before he got saved and became an Independent Baptist. I have well over 100 family members in the RCC, Greek Orthodox Church, Episcopal Church and the Lutheran Church. I was Greek Orthodox for several years. Members Joe Chandler
I guess if you can't change the bible, just retranslate it. This was the tactic of the recently banned Dr. Morley. This is not a challenge to Tony, but the new guy. He also responds by quoting line by line and confusing issues, just like Dr Morley. If I weren't having to use my phone, I would have gone much further in depth with my answers to both. I've had to deal with a lot of these types of people for the last 50+ years. I don't understand why they have to introduce new elements to the conversation. Straw man arguments from others was a tactic I faced in debate class in highschool. The best thing I like about the Catholics, is that they remain quiet entering the place of worship. Like if you were in a library. Baptist and others faith make much noise. People talking out loud. There's nothing wrong with people talking in church, loudly or not. Some people's voices are naturally loud. Being overly quiet may seem reverent but it might seem creepy to anyone visiting. Members SureWord
As a Christian you'll find most of your problems will be with other Christians or at least professing Christians. This has been my experience any ways. A daughter of a deacon at a Baptist Church I once attended helped break up my marriage. She later committed suicide. So you don't like the sound of Christian fellowship upon entering a church before the actual service starts? That's sad. I was raised Catholic. Seems to me that entering a Catholic Church always feels more like a funeral than a worship service. I enjoy the fellowship that goes on prior to the service. I doubt I would stay long in a church where everyone maintained silence. Pastor Matt and BrotherTony 1

There might be someone praying So everyone should whisper? Like at a funeral service? I think that would not be appealing to first time visitors. I believe most like to be welcomed with open arms, not treated as though they need to walk on egg shells. I don't believe this would be welcomed by most Christians either. Assembling with other Christians should be a time of rejuvenation and fellowship. During the Sunday School, Service, and times set aside for prayer there is silence and reverence. Prior to and after there is fellowship, Christian comradery and joy. I believe that is a welcoming environment for both members and newcomers alike. People smiling, enjoying each others company, being in God's house. Paul said we are to pray without ceasing. Based on your view perhaps we should always hold our conversation to a whisper, whether in church or out. 'There might be someone praying'. I honestly believe that fellowship is one of the key components to a healthy church. Noise is party of fellowship.
