Thank you for informing us of the passing away of Pastor Theaker.

Pastor Theaker was a man of God, a fine Christian gentleman, a good witness in his community and walked with the Lord Jesus. It was an honor knowing Pastor Theaker and to be able to visit Wolverine Baptist Church and to be able to be around him.

Pastor Theaker will be missed by many, many people. I am sure that he is enjoying the presence of the Lord Jesus for whom he labored for many years.

of Wolverine Baptist Church in Michigan passed away this evening.. Please pray for his family and for our church family,

Sister Rosie,

It is also my understanding that his brother had passed unto his eternal home in heaven just a few days ago.  Certainly, we will be praying for the family and the church.

Amen!  I also have met Brother Theaker and can express my agreement to the above.  My in-laws (Bud and Sharon Jolly) have often attended Wolverine Baptist Church when in that area to visit family.

Sister Rosie,

I may have attended Wolverine Baptist Church once over the last 10 years, so you probably do not know me.  On the other hand, my in-laws, Bud and Sharon Jolly, have been there many more times than that.  Also, during hunting season my sons have attended there also (with their Grandpa Bud), while "up north" for hunting camp.

It's so wonderful to know that our God understands our sorrow and grief when a loved one is passed on.  I'm so glad that, "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?" (Ps. 56:8).  Our dear Saviour wept...He knows, and when we lift our hearts to Him...He gives us peace and comfort.  I am praying!
