While most people answering sellers' advertisements on Craigslist are honest shoppers simply looking for a good deal, a few use Craigslist as a venue to find victims for scams and rOBbery.

Watch out my friends... :twocents:

Two men who were supposed to meet a buyer for a laptop being sold via Craigslist were shot and rOBbed at Demetree Park in Orlando on Friday night, police reported Monday.

Officers were called to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where Isaias Mercedes and Alfredo Colon were being treated, an incident report said.

Mercedes was shot in the neck and unable to speak with police Friday night. Colon was uncooperative and told the officer he needed to speak with Mercedes.

I've bought and sold alot of sheep and goats on Craigslist. Also found my mini horse, my mini donkey, koi fish, a tandem axle utility trailer, tools and farm equipment. Just bought a 36" gable fan for my greenhouse a couple weeks ago. But it pays to be careful because there have even been murders committed through Craigslist. It's a sick world we live in.

Well, if you agree to meet someone in a park after dark to make an exchange, you're pretty stupid in the first place. I always do exchanges in public places. In the daytime.
