Was Jesus A Pot Stirrer

As a man he got many angered at his speech, He spoke many things that got the religious mad. Things they did not want to talk about in their days. I guess this can still happen to believers today.

...but there's a big difference between being a "pot stirrer" and a "truth speaker".

 

In general, a pot stirrer's goal is to stir up trouble, strife, and contention; whereas, a truth speaker's goal (as Christ did) is to stir man's heart to the truths of God's word.  Sometimes, speaking the truth does lead to trouble, strife, and contention, but that's not the truth speaker's goal.

His truth contained in scripture still angers men today.  Cuts like a knife.  Illuminates like a mirror.  Truth hurts.

Jesus spoke the truth, which riled some people. He didn't say things to simply stir things up.

Jesus never just went around stirring up trouble. If Jesus was living today He would never made a post on onlinebaptist just to stir things up towards a person as you have recently done.

 

Its quite clear in at least two topics you have stirred up trouble with Standing Firm, doing so on purpose, it could be called picking on a person.

 

I don't feel that is the way we should do our brothers & sisters in Christ.

I write all the time and had already had this article most of the way done a few weeks ago.  Otherwise I would not be as familiar with those scriptures.  It was not a planned thing or timed thing.  Who is stirring?
