I love the 1769 because the 1611 translators loved God’s Word:

“But among all our joys, there was no one that more filled our hearts, than the blessed continuance of the preaching of God's sacred Word among us;”

I love the 1769 because the 1611 translators humbled themselves before God:

“because we are poor Instruments to make GOD'S holy Truth to be yet more and more known unto the people, whom they desire still to keep in ignorance and darkness; or if, on the other side, we shall be maligned by self-conceited Brethren, who run their own ways, and give liking unto nothing, but what is framed by themselves, and hammered on their Anvil; we may rest secure, supported within by truth and innocency of a good conscience, having walked the ways of simplicity and integrity, as before the Lord;”

In the KJB, Jesus is honoured throughout, as it's clear He IS the Son of God.

The KJB rightly declares in Luke 2:13 and elsewhere that angels speak, not sing, as some MVs falsely assert.

It lines out how I my receive rewards that I can give back to Christ.

The KJB assures me that I am born again in Christ and have eternal life with Him!
