What about eating supper Amish style. My in-laws did that a couple summers ago. You actually go to their home and have dinner. You need reservations of course, but they and Matt's cousins really enjoyed it.

I think I'm going to do that Kitchen Village thing, it has lots of crafts and looks like something for everybody.

Just have to find lodging and decide dinner. The Village looks like it has a cute place to eat...we'll see.

Now there's a great idea. :thumb

We have several "Family Style" restaurants here.

Good 'n' Plenty is one of the very best. They seat you at a humongous table and bring food to your table in bowls just like a family gathering would be. They keep bringing it until you say, "No more, please". It is wunnnnnnnnnnnnnnerful-good (((((((as we Penn-Dutchies are wont to say  ))))))

There should be a phone no. in there somewhere. I could call and find out for ya. :thumb

We see restaurants like these and then do not need to wonder why places like Golden Corral, Shoney's, etc. cannot get in here and make a go of it. Way down in Lancaster City in the Red Rose Commons there is an Old Country Buffet which is little more than a hog-trough ((((((( and even that is a compliment :lol::lol::lol::lol: ))))))) by comparison to these high-end local Penn-Dutch style eating/dining establishments.
