Yes it is, its nice to see everything clear, I'm wearing my glasses more than I ever have because they clear up the world for me.

Here is the web site for Transition Lenses. I really like them when going outside in the bright sun.

And as others said its not the bifocal, although I do have bifocals, but not the Progressive lenses.

My 1st pair of glasses back in the very early 90's was the Progressive lenses, but they did not work for me, tried a 2nd set of lenses and it was the same thing, so i went with the regular ones and never tried them again.

I tried bifocals but couldn't get on with them but clicked straight away with variafocal lenses.

Our optician gives two pairs for the price of one so I get one with reactalight and one clear but both variafocals.

I suppose your referring to the progressive lenses, the ones that do not have a line.

I tried progressive lenses years ago, had prOBlems, so I just get regular bifocals, I have no prOBlem with them. My wife wear the progressive lenses.

I believe that reactalight, like Transition Lenses is a brand name.

I have been debating, I really want to go back to college in January. I really can't afford it anyway. I don't know what the Lord wants me to do.

Kayla if you need glasses to see then the Lord will provide!! In college you read soo much and your on the computer! I'll be praying for you! I must have glasses to see everyday and a separate pair for reading. My lenses are so stronge that this actually make's thing's less expensive and plus as a girl I don't mind having two pair! My son need's new glasses as well as my husband. Best deal I have found if you need transition's, glair resistance, scratch coat etc. First Optical? If you need two pair it is geat because you only pay for one pair and the second is free! The trick is to get the frames as close to the same price range as your able AND to love them! Lord alway's provide's just trust Him!!

Mostly, my variafocals have been brilliant. I did have one pair that made it difficult walking down stairs as I could not focus on the stairs. I should have taken them back and got the optician to replace them.

I once had a pair of single vision specs at one time which made me feel as if I was walking on a slope and slipping sideways. Again I should have taken them back.

If he is seeing correctly then his eyes would not be watering. A person can see okay through glasses without them being just right. If they are exactly right, there will be no watering, no headaches, no eyestrain. I know glasses cost a lot but I think I would get a second opinion. Glasses that are almost correct are worthless.

My daughter and son in law have had their eyes lasered. They think it is great, but I don't fancy it.

I recall a TV special a long time back on the laser, there were several who had it done, but found their self with messed up eyes. I believe glasses are much safer, even thought they can be a pain.
