In South Dakota, it is a state offense for motion picture theatres to show films depicting policemen in a bad light. In Florida, it is unlawful for anyone to swim in waters shared by alligators. The state health department simply does not have enough vaccine to counteract the deadly bacteria and germs in the water. In Mi…

This is not "Christmassy" but it is one of my puzzles. I have about 60 puzzles of various kinds that I would like to post randomly. Copy the puzzle, answers are contained within, but I can post them later if need be. You will find 17 Books of the Bible hidden in the following story. Look carefully, as they are tricky. Ignore all punctuation and spacing of words if necessary. It was remarkable to see numbers of people who seat themselves awkwardly on the pedestals of self-indulgence! The truth is, none of us is worthy of honor, no, not at all. We all must compete regularly for God’s attention, as it can be quite a job to catch His eye; to receive His gr…

My son, while student teaching at Bible college, gave the kids a "pop" quiz as a sort of amusing treat. They were worried at first, until they began to see what he meant. This is my version of it. 1. This pop originated in Canada and bears its name. 2. This one finds its roots in the root of the sassafras tree. 3. In RC Cola, the "RC" stands for what? 4. this popular beverage is sold in 200 countries of the world. It had its beginning as a menicine, and became popular later as a soft drink. 5. I just finished reading a book that had a few riddles and brain teasers in it. I thought it might add a smile to our day to riddle each other. No prizes, just fun. If you know any riddles or brain teasers, please join in....I'll go first. It is an insect, and the first part of it's name is another insect. What is it?

This game is really easy. Someone asks: - If you would be ____________________, what (or who) would you be? Then the next one answers and asks something and it continues on. Ex: Person 1- - If you would be an animal, which animal would you be? Person 2- An elephant. Person 2 or 3 asks- If yoiu would be a bible character, who would you be? Next person- Jesus. becasue... and it continues on. So i start: If you would be a president, which one would you be?

This is a strange idea that popped in my head this morning, and I have a feeling it'll flop. But I thought I might as well try it anyways. It has no purpose or meaning - all you do is post a sentence that makes atleast a little bit of sense, but it has to start with the three words "In five minutes" So, I'll start... In five minutes I might sing an aria in an opera, but probably not.
