I was back and forth about going on Friday night to the revival at a IFB church nearby (not the IFB I attend). The IFB church I’ve been attending announced it during Sun & Wed, and I felt it would be a great experience. I thought the roof was going to come off the place! It was very exciting and I felt such a release… happiness. I can’t put it in words! There were a number of Pastors and between 150-200+ people packed in this small church. I can say I’ve never had this type of spiritually experience in my life. Feeling like I had far more energy and strength than ever before. I sat with the Pastor and his wife and I just adore them. I feel like they are both close f…

Worshiping at Flora-Bama Lounge PERDIDO KEY — On a balmy Sunday morning at the Flora-Bama Lounge, Package and Oyster Bar, barkeeps set up their stations as churchgoers filtered in under a Jack Daniels banner. The iconic bar, which sits on the Florida and Alabama state line, is famous for its annual mullet-tossing contest — patrons gather on the beach and throw dead fish from Alabama into Florida. Bikini contests, bar brawls and drink specials are the day-to-day business of the beach bar that calls itself “America’s last roadhouse.” But for one hour every Sunday, the Flora-Bama is home to about 450 regular congregants of Worship at the Water, an outreach service of…

Luke 16 [1] And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. [2] And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. [3] Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. [4] I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. [5] So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unt…

Great insight into just how far the Presbyterian church has sunk, and many others are as well. This should serve as a warning to us all. http://www.newswithviews.com/Duigon/lee160.htm

Yesterday morning I went to my church, the LDS (Mormon) church, but I could barely pay attention during the services. Our church is 3 hours long back to back. 10 minute into the 2nd hour I forced myself to give my tithings to the Bishop, and a few minutes after I just got up and left. I had an uneasy feeling like I needed to leave. I got in my car and drove to this IFB church I found near my home. The Pastor and his wife were so sweet and I felt very welcome. It was a wonderful experience that I hope to have again soon. The only negative was that little itch that I felt I was betraying my church. Would my Bishop find out... would they label me an Apostate by associatio…

I have been taught, and always thought that we would remember life on this earth when we get to heaven. Now I am not so sure. I had hope it was true, and that I would see my family again in Heaven, but not so sure now. Here's why: "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." Isa.65:17 In a way though, that is good, how could we rejoice when we knew all that was going on down here on this wicked old earth? Heaven is too good for such things to even be seen or spoken of.

Thoughout my life I had a hard time gasping the concept of the Trinity. For me things seemed very black and white... G_d is the Father, Jesus is G_ds son, and the Holy Ghost is the Spirit. The concept of Jesus being G_d had made no sense to me and I'll be honest it's still doesn't. This was something that gave me a great connection to Mormonism because they viewed it the same way. As I go through this transition in my life I still find it hard to get over this topic of the Trinity. There are numerous times that Jesus speaks to his Father and visa versa. When does it become that now Jesus is G_d and G_d the father no longer exists? So tell me... what am I missing?

If the supposed to be scholarly translators go much further with their revising and modernizing of the Scriptures, they’ll probably have Jonah being picked up by a submarine, Elijah going to Heaven on a spaceship, Jesus feeding the five thousand Kentucky Fried Chicken and turning the water into Coca-Cola, and Elisha bugging the headquarters of Ben-hadad, king of Syria, so he could tell the king of Israel the enemy’s plan.

The Marketing Of Evil by David Kupelian $24.95 Excellent Book! I just finished it and for me it was a “fast” read. Approximately 230 pages. Bible Quotations are KJV, 1769. If you’re struggling with how to define what is happening in America and the primary reasons why homosexuality, U.S. Constitutional attack, culture change, family meltdown, sex obsession, failing government education, media prejudice, and abortion continue to gain ground then this book is an excellent source for understanding. The book also provides actions required for combating these atrocities. The last chapter describes what a Christian needs to do. In a word...Bullseye!

TEXAS GOVERNOR'S UPCOMING LEADERSHIP EVENT INCLUDES CULT MEMBERS By Marsha West August 3, 2011 NewsWithViews.com Gov. Rick Perry has involved himself with is the New Apostolic Reformation (). Another offshoot, and the one I’ll deal with here, is the International House of Prayer (), a splinter group of the Kansas City Prophets. Confusing? You betcha! We can all agree that Doctrine and Salvation are two very important elements in our faith. Salvation is clearly outlined in numerous passages of Scripture. Here are but a small few: Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,…

We just concluded our Bible Conference this past Friday. James Knox preached 4 sermons that were very timely and cut right to the heart. If you are like me and are just getting plain old tired of the rat race and the ever increasing number of rats in it, these messages will help. Friday morning's message is geared more to older teenagers and young adults, but as my wife and I can attest, very good for parents of the same. The sermons are the four from Wednesday August 1st to Friday PM August 3rd. IMO, Pastor Cammilleri's message on Sunday August 5 is a good fit in this series as well. http://new.livestream.com/opbbc

Bakery sees business boom after ‘gay wedding cake’ refusal LAKEWOOD, Colorado, July 31, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The owner of a cake shop in Lakewood, Colorado said that, following a refusal to provide a wedding cake for a homosexual couple his business has more than doubled. Jack Phillips, the owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, told local media that this wasn’t the first time he had turned away homosexuals seeking wedding cakes, but it is the first time his stand for Christian principles has resulted in so much media attention and some death threats. Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop. Phillips explained that since 1993 the family owned and operated business…

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10) God brings the fire in revelation of Himself. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were tried in the Lord’s fire--and prevailed! The fire was made seven times hotter than usual, and they came out unscathed. Not so much as the smell of smoke was on them; they were tried, and they remained faithful. You all know the story, but do you really know what you would do if it were you that was cast into the fire? We all think we would stand, but until we look death square in the face, we do not know what we will do when the time comes. The three Hebrew children met Jesus …

Mercury rising: 5 consequences from the drought that’s scorching American farmland The worst drought in a generation is punishing farmers and burning up the nation's corn crop. Nearly 65 percent of the nation is experiencing a drought right now, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. Many farmers were just trying to get over last summer's dry spell when the hottest June on record rolled in, threatening to destroy crops and desiccate pastures. While it's still unclear exactly what the drought will mean for the U.S. environment and economy, a few concerning consequences are already apparent. But experts predict other worrisome outcomes yet to come. (If you have stories o…

Kids’ church lemonade stand raises money for same-sex ‘marriage’ MINNEAPOLIS, July 30, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – Nothing so calls to mind the spirit of innocence than a child’s summertime lemonade stand. However, at one church in Minneapolis, young Sunday school children donated the proceeds of their childhood business venture to a group dedicated to redefining marriage in the November election. On July 15, children in grades 1-5 at First Universalist Church of Minneapolis charged a quarter a glass during their church-sponsored fundraiser to support same-sex “marriage.” The church dubbed the event, which took place in the church social hall, “Lemonade Stand-ing on th…

We often see the pre-flood generations as primitive people, but I figure it was around 1956 or so that the flood came. In today's world, we were quite modern by 1956, if one could compare. Some say it was two thousand years after creation, and two thousand more till the birth of Christ, making the world six thousand years old. A calculator would allow us to add up the generations listed in Gen 5. (realizing that some generations may have been skipped. I realize i Tim 1:4 " Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do." But also realize that "genealogies is mentioned 8 times in the …
