For those of you that would like to have a garden but do not have access to a tiller, may I suggest Tillage Radishes. I just got my shipment two days ago. The seeds are planted in your garden area in mid to late summmer and whilst they are establishing themselves will send down a tap root ~32" into the hard sub-soil. They are great for breaking up compaction. They eliminate the need to till the ground as well as add vital nutrients and subsoil borne minerals to the topsoil. One farmer described them as a good reason to park the steel. I.E. Lose/sell/give away/throw away your rototiller. Please click here::::::::: http://www.tillageradish.com/benefits.php

Are you doing any berry/fruit picking and/or preserving this summer? We picked strawberries at a local farm last week, and I froze most of those. I'd like to do more, but most of the farms around here only have blueberries later in the summer. Blueberries are fine, but I still have some from last year in my freezer.

Lockheed D-21/M-21 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_D-21 Notice the dates, notice how fast this thing will travel, I think such things as this is what people have seem and called UFO's. While our Military service stayed quite not wanting to reveal to the whole world what we have. And how many more such flying machines did they have? Many, that they kept secret.

Not long back I may have mentioned a church that split up. Not long after the split the pastors 16 year old daughter was killed in a car wreck. When they had viewing some of those who left the church came to visitations at the funeral home, one of them was told by a member of this church, "Being as y'all don't want to attend church with us, why are you coming to this visitation. I hope none of you plan on attending the funeral service at our church?" The wife was speaking to a member of this church after the funeral service, she said, "We can't understand why any of them would come to visitations and the funeral, they did not want to attend church with us." I asked Li…

Two weeks ago we had a baby rat snake on our breezeway. http://onlinebaptist.com/messageboards/thread-9027.html Today, we saw a 4 ft. black snake in the yard...scared DH to death. The kids and I gawked at him from a distance and then up close for quite some time. He sniffed us and came really close one time. Then, the kids decided to touch his back, and Mr. Snake decided he had had enough so up the apple tree he went.

Does anyone here have a camcorder? We have a Sony miniDv, but our problem is that the disk will not play on any computer. We've tried it on 4 different computers, with 3 different operating systems (all Microsoft). There is a download that we can get, but the problem is that we need this to work for our customers' computers, too. We've been thinking about getting a Canon. Canon with an SD card was recommended (by a salesman, of course). Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

I happened across a Christian magazine geared towards high schoolers primarily. In the magazine I read this regarding hell: "Now let's look at what the word hell means. It simply means "separation from God." It's a place for people who want nothing to do with God." In the next paragraph, after mentioning that heaven is for those who believe in God, they end with: "Hell is the God-free alternative." What do you think of this explanation of hell?

Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is impossible that a nation of infidels or idolaters should be a nation of freemen. It is when people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. Patrick Henry

Speechless: Silencing the Christians by Rev. Donald E. Wildmon Forward by Ann Coulter This is an excellent book showing just how our enemies are working against Christianity, their real plans and agenda, as well as the outcome if they win...which would be very bad for Christians. Reading this book will help those who already know of the problems Christians face in America that in some areas things are worse than we thought. For those who don't realize how bad things really are, or who don't believe that which liberals are pressing is truly anti-Christian, this book may open your eyes. It's wonderful how this book not only points out how Christians can confront w…

Just a Sinner They announced a few days ago that Michael Jackson died of a heart attack. He was only 50 years old too! Now I don't follow Michael, and could not tell you even the name of one of his "songs", but I had heard enough of the scandals that he got himself into. My first thought was "God finally got tired of his wickedness", but do you know what the Lord put into my mind? He's just a sinner' he was doing what sinners do; he wasn't much different than any of us, except for the grace of God. But for the grace of God, I might have been there with him! A gruesome thought, but true. He lived for "self"; he lived for the flesh, and that is what I would have done if t…

Yes, my pride now wears a mask; he does not confront me face to face, but sneaks up on me and disguises himself so that I do not think he is truly there. Just when I think he has left me alone, I find him coming again in another form, another disguise. He is a wicked companion that I cannot shake off; he, at times, rules my life and dictates my actions. Oh how subtle he is, seeking to destroy whatever true virtue I may have; seeking to annihilate any humility I would desire, and constantly battling for superiority with my every thought. Oh this evil fellow, if only he would remove the mask and expose himself, I may stand a chance, but as soon as he is discovered in my…

New smilies came with the new software but we now have some similar emoticons in the list. I'm wondering which you would prefer. Basically, you have a choice between the ones we had on the other board and the new ones. Look at the following examples: :icon_biggrin: or or or or

I am looking for information on the book entitled "Created to be his Help Meet" by Debi Pearl. I have read some online reviews and excerpts but I am interested in knowing if anyone here has read the book. If you have read this book I would be most appreciative if you gave your insights.

The board changeover kinda mixed up all the smilies. I would like to know your preferences for which ones/kinds you would like in the quick-select box next to the posting section. Just post your opinions in this thread, please. BroMatt, if you read this, is there a categories option for the smilies with this software?

Something our pastor sent out: "Convenient" Discipleship Jesus called us to "deny yourself, take up our cross and follow Him." Sadly, we are prone to add words to the command, "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me . . . when you have time" "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me. . . unless you have something more important to do" "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me . . . unless you don't like what God is asking you to do (in other words, if you have a "better" plan). "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me . . . unless you have family plans" Does this seem harsh? Maybe. The question is not whether or not the words a…
