Any of you that have a "smartphone" should download the Youversion bible app by lifechurch.tv from the android market. The best thing about this app is that you can listen to the bible. I used to have listen to the bible first by tape than by CD. The probelm with this was it was cubersome. The CD set had something like 30 discs in it. Not very user friendly. I highly recommend this. It's free and you'll be able to listen to the entire KJV off of your phone.

To leave a reply at many sites on the internet they require you have a facebook account. I wonder if I can set up a dummy account just so I can leave comments on some of these websites...or, would that be against... Ephesians 4:25 "Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another." Some may ask why such an aversion to facebook? I don't know why, it just seems to me the Lord doesn't want me in it. No, I've never prayed about it.

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh? -

Excellent it’s over, I noticed that many pastors were disturbed, with the elections this year, more than ever before, and they were preaching to reinforcing being a conservative, it was a priority for many preachers, but now that is all over, preaching the gospel for salvation should take its place. Well, I agree with knowing you are a sinner before salvation and by free will, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. So that's not really calvinism. -
