Just a couple of requests to remember for Rolling Hills Baptist Church of Anita, Iowa: We're celebrating our first anniversary this Sunday with some special music, a guest speaker, and a dinner on the grounds. Please pray that this will generate some interest in the community. We're having a difficult time breaking through some hurt feelings. Secondly, please pray for traveling mercies for the special musical trio coming from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City (my daughter is a member of the trio). My 1st cousin is having a biopsy of the prostate done tomorrow. I will be going with him to drive him back home after this takes place tomorrow. He has had some trouble, been in the hospital and I suppose from this he will find out what is going on. Oh, I found out he was in the hospital by accident. He is one who tells no one nothing. He is not a church going person and rightly does not care to talk about such things. But, when I visited him in the hospital, after saying a prayer before leaving, I noticed tears coming from his eyes. On Wed my 5 yr old Caleb will be getting tubes (for the 2nd time) and also his adenoids removed. Please pray it will go okay with minimal pain or problems. His blood test showed his blood slightly too thin (he wasn't feeling well, maybe it was that) so he has to have another blood test before the surgery to make sure he won't bleed too much. Thanks!

This entire region is under a high risk of severe weather, with large tornados and hail expected. Yesterday there were several tornados and good sized hail not too distant from here. Please pray the Lord will be our shield and protect us from any such storms and protect all His people from these storms.

Long story short - for various reasons I have kicked my roommate out. He was supposed to leave on Tuesday. He has only taken part of his stuff and is still staying in his room (he hides out in there while I am up and about). On Tuesday, there was a note indicating he would be leaving that day (verifying our prior agreement). Please pray for wisdom today, I am going to a large caterer in NE Philly who is looking for a part time pastry chef assistant. I casually emailed them wanting details and saying I only had a very few hours per week I could actually work (like only two half days per week) but they seemed like that is what they wanted, so they checked out my website and asked to set up an appointment. Just wanted you to pray for my coming up doctors appointment. As most of you know rwilson and I are expecting our 3rd child. The doctor has me taking my blood pressure 3 times a day because it has been real high by the 10th if it is not down I will have to go on blood pressure medicine. Also they are going to do an ultra-sound on the 10th because he (the doctor) believes I may be caring twins. If that is the Lords will please pray for me to have patience. Some of you don't know who he is but he use to be the piano player for the Kingsmen and was the piano player for the Gaither Homecoming concerts. I received an email from Greater Vision saying that Anthony when home to be with the Lord while on a Gaither Homecoming Cruise. It appears that he may have had a massive heart attack while playing the piano for one of the concerts while on the cruise. Please keep his family in your prayers.

I recieved this from a friend and coworker. Please pray for his son and all the sons and daughters in harms way serving in Iraq and around the world. Hi, I just talked to Jeremy, my youngest son. He is currently in Kuwait and was supposed to stay there for a year. The plan was for the (unit name removed) to stay out of Iraq. Well, as we all know plans change. For those of you that know me, know that my sister and her husband are going to be missionaries to Australia. The time has come for them to depart and make their journey there. Will y'all please pray for my Physical therapist Alysse. I do not feel that she is saved. She asked me for Passages to help her let go of bitterness. She doesn't ahve a Bible and I don't believe that she ever has. I have a Bible that is easy for a new believer to understand. If you remember???? 2 years ago or so Caleb had fluid in his ears that would not drain and he was experiencing hearing loss because of it... Well in the past couple months the hearing loss has returned with a vengeance and so Wed I will be taking him back into the ENT dr. Please pray he can get tubes again or get the problem solved soon, his teacher is concerned as she is noticing a problem at Christian school too and he has standardized tests coming up the end of next month and he HAS to be able to listen to instructions for those. My Wife and I have been approached by a lady at church who has a sister that is pregnant and in jail. She talked to us about the situation a few weeks before Christmas. After much prayer my Wife and I will be looking into maybe taking this baby when it is born in Feb. Please pray that God's will be done. We both have peace about adopting a child. We just want God's will for our lives and if it's His will be take this baby then He will work it out I'm sure. The mother of the baby is in jail for abusing her first baby that was only a month old when she shook it till it was unconscience and broke it's arm.

My Father passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, where he wanted to be. He's now with the Lord and is no longer suffering. Through this experience I have had to locate and talk to my sister whom I have not spoken to in 15 years. It ended up that 3 of the siblings had to sign in order for the cremation to happen. My brother in Montana is having the papers mailed to him, and my sister and I will be electronically signing through an email or text. Hopefully we can get him cremated. It's all been paid for, but the theft of Pop's safe while he was in the nursing home brings problems as the receipts for the cremation were in that safe. UGH! But God is still good. -

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -
