I just found out this morning that my boss is in the hospital from a heart attack. This is not his first one. He may be coming home today, so I don't know when he had it. Please pray for him. He is not saved, and has been witnessed to.

Urgent request Someone sent this to me by e-mail. Please be in pryer for this. God bless. Dear Praying friends, Please pray for Joshua Gomez, son of Dr. Keith Gomez, pastor of Northwest Baptist Church in Eligin, IL, who was in a motorcycle accident last night in California. He was airlifted to a hospital in Sacramento, CA where he is on life support. The family are on their way right now. The nurses said barring a miracle he won't survive. He has a fractured skull, broken bones in his back and was to have brain surgery today although we have not heard whether they were able to do it or not. Thank you for your prayers.

Please be in prayer for Dr. Earl Jessup who took a serious fall from a ladder about 5 hours ago in West Virginia. This morning he was cleaning the evestroughs for his aunt, when the ladder slipped and he fell 12 feet to a concrete driveway. He has a broken back, broken collar bone, bleeding at the front of the brain, a gash on his head that required 12 staples to close and a minor puncture of a lung. As you can imagine this is a serious situation. He is being transferred from the hospital in Beckley, to Charleston, where they are better prepared to care for the bleeding on the brain issue. Please pray for my brother-in-law, Brad. At work today he got a sliver of steel in his eye. The steel worked its way out but he has scratching and what-not on his eye and is in pain and can't see well out of that eye.

Please pray for the family of Lee Waller and Crown College. Lee was traveling with two other Crown Students to serve in San Francisco when the SUV he was in wrecked. He was killed and the other two young men were slightly injured.

I'm not sure if I've posted about this already or not, but my oldest sister and brother lead pretty messed up lives (eg. smoking, drinking, both were married and divorced and now live with other people who they aren't married to). For some reason they still claim they're going to heaven though. Anyways, today we got a phone call from our senior pastor and he said that they came to him and started complaining to him about us. I don't know what they said and why, we haven't had any contact with them for over a month and haven't done anything bad to them, but tomorrow we have a meeting with the pastor to discuss this. We are under a threat of severe weather for Thursday (6-7-07). Forecasts predict possible sheer winds up to 80 mph, hail and scattered tornados. Please pray the Lord would be our Shield and prevent any severe, strong, harmful or damaging storms from coming upon us or near us.

I found out sunday night that a 16 year old who comes to our Church was grounded by her parents because she was sharing the gospel with her catholic grandmum. Because she teaches one of the kids classes Sunday morning they decided to allow her to keep that commitment but she can not go Sunday night or Thursday night. If you all could keep her and her family in Prayers, she was almost in tears Sunday morning when she told some women.

Please Keep me in Prayer still I went to the walk in clinic today to check into my ankle and my shoulder and neck. They also was concerned on me still being anemic and overweight still. I told them that I been changing my diet around and I drink ice water with lemon and iced tea for drinking and eating low fat low cal stuff and fruits and veggies and whole grain things and so on. They have scheduled an ultrasound for tommrow at 9:45 am. Keep me in Prayer for all of this and they think I need physical therapy for my ankle. They also got me a cream to take and a muscle relax pill.

A wisdom tooth is growing in and it is extremely painful. I took some presciption medication to alleviate the pain, but it still hurts. Please pray that the pain goes away!!! :bawling:

He cried a lot last night during the night which is not like him. This morning, he woke up before I had to leave for work. I went in to get him, and his little body was hot. He cried hard again, and didn't nurse very well. I really hope his is not getting sick - we literally can't afford it right now. Please, pray for him - he is only 8 months old. Please pray for co-worker Please pray for a co-worker named Laderia A SHe has to undergo surgery today at 4 because of a tubal pregnancy. PLease pray for her slavation and safety. Just a little request.... I failed my one hour gestational diabetes test. That in itself wasn't a surprise, out of four pg I have only passed one time, and that one time the baby was born with low blood sugar so... Anyway usually you have to take a (torturous) 3 hour test to make the diagnosis of gestational diabetes. I took it once and its totally no fun, you feel awful. Anyway with one of my others I just got permission to skip the test and go on the diet, and that was no problem. That was in SC. Well here they were going to give me permission to skip the 3 hr test. A large kidney stone has turned sideways and will not pass through my system. Tomorrow (5-22-07) I will have to have surgery to remove this stone. The surgery is schedualed for 1 pm Central Time. Please pray the Lord will guide the Doctor and grant the Doctor the wisdom and skill necessary to perform the operation with precision and effectiveness. Please pray also that I may have a swift and as painless as possible recovery; which the Doctor says could take between 10 days and 3 weeks. I miss you all and hope to be back once I am able. Please pray for a baby of a family in my church, Samuel Stewart. He was hospitalized last week with bacterial spinal meningitis. He was doing better, but then this morning we just received a call that he was having seizures and is unresponsive. Please pray for his healing and for strength for the family to make it through this time.

My grandma, My father's mother, passed away last night. I did not know about it until later because no one would call me. I did not get to visit her often and was planning to earlier this month. I told my son I would take him to the nursing home so he could visit our grandmother. It is too late She and my grandfather used to be a mormon, but they converted to baptist after my grandfather got serious burned in a house fire (he survived, but had to get major skin treatments). I hope she is with the Lord and with my grandfather who passed away about 4 or 5 years ago. This will be hard on my dad, and I know he will drown himself in alcohol to cope this.

After having just passed a huge kidney stone just over two weeks ago I am suffering again from another kidney stone. I had X-rays taken of my kidney yesterday so they can see if there are anymore in there. I was told if there are and if they are calcium stones that they can give me medicine that will help to disintigrate them so I won't have to pass them. Please pray this current stone will pass swiftly and as painlessly as possible and that I may not have to ever suffer from another one again. Thank you!

My Father passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, where he wanted to be. He's now with the Lord and is no longer suffering. Through this experience I have had to locate and talk to my sister whom I have not spoken to in 15 years. It ended up that 3 of the siblings had to sign in order for the cremation to happen. My brother in Montana is having the papers mailed to him, and my sister and I will be electronically signing through an email or text. Hopefully we can get him cremated. It's all been paid for, but the theft of Pop's safe while he was in the nursing home brings problems as the receipts for the cremation were in that safe. UGH! But God is still good. -

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers.
