I pastor the Calvary Baptist Church in Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico As many of you may have seen on the news, Hurricane Dean just passed through and left much destruction. No one was hurt, and we praise the Lord for that. We do have some families that are without homes right now, staying in our house and with others. Still no electricity, still no water, but we have a great Saviour. I sent out an e mail to my friends and supporters for financial help. I'll do the same here. Please could someone pray for my daughter who is suffering greatly from on going migraine headaches. Medication is having little affect and she is finding life tuff. She is only 12 years old and has been in hospital several times with this problem. She has been unable to attend school for the last week with her current headache. He woke up this morning at 6 and said his leg itched. I put some lotion on it, and he went back to sleep. At 7:45, he got up to start getting ready for church, went into the bathroom and I hear him say that he has a big rash on him. My wife and I go to see (he has had rashes before due to food allergies, so we were not concerned). We get in there, and Nathaniel is covered from his stomach, middle back all the way down to his calves in hives. We didn't eat anything different, didn't do any thing different, we just don't understand. Pray for him as he itches very badly.

I have an addiction in my life that is affecting my worship and my relationship with God. I was called to preach two years ago, and I know I can't keep on with this addiction and be in God's service. I am too ashamed, so in the last 2 years I've only preached one service. I know that if I leave this at God's feet, he will take care of it. Thank you.

My DH needs a part-time job very soon, and he also needs prayer because he is taking the postal exam test next week. The postal job is for a relief rural mail carrier. That is 1 day a week for sure and maybe 1 more day off and on. The cost of living in NC is triple that of Indiana so he needs work that he is physically able to do. Thank you. CJP56

He is an older man -- a dear man who has served the Lord for a LONG time. He has diabetes, and this morning he was walking with crutches. When my wife asked him what had happened, he told her it was Charcot Foot. (if you don't know what that is and are interested, here's a link: http://www.epodiatry.com/charcot-foot.htm ) He is going into the Dr tomorrow and is hoping that they will be able to cast it and have the bones regrow. Please pray for him.

my friend's baby was a preemie and is now about 3 mos old, weighs just over 6lbs. Was diagnosed with pnuemonia and is doing better from that, but in the course of x-rays a mass on her 7th rib was found that is puzzling. They have scheduled a biopsy for her to check for cancer. Pray that this is simply a mass where a small fracture in the rib is healing and that it is okay. Pray for mom and dad who are very tired and missing their other children immensely as they have dealt with the issues of their precious preemie.

It is Sunday night here in New Zealand, yesterday I gave in to sin again thinking that some how that would bring joy, soooooooooo wrong. Instead of being full of the life of God I feel more like death. I havnt found my place in the body of Christ yet and am really struggling to find real life in God. Would some one like to help me prayfully through tommorrow as Im filled with depression and hopelessness. I need victory over sin, I need to find God in a real life changing way and I need his presence in my life big time. I dont want to be full of dying thoughts and hopelessness. Tommorow our church will be hosting the funeral for a fallen soldier. The parents go to a church that is a mission of our church, started a couple of years ago, but will be using our church since it's so big. They are a homeschooling family, very devout, with 8 kids, (now 7). Pfc. Jaron Holliday their oldest son was killed by an IED along with two of his fellow soldiers. He was 21. We'll be attenting the funeral at 11am, then joining those lining the streets in his honor as the funeral progresses to the cemetery. We'll then return to the church to help with the dinner being prepared for the family, which is expected to last as late as 7pm, so it will be a long day. We…

Please pray for my DH's boss (his name is John). He's had a lot of heart and kidney problems in the last several years and his doctor recently told him he's not a good candidate for a heart transplant based on his history. Now he's in the hospital, he's fading fast, and his 2 kids are trying to get back from China in time. Please pray that they do, and also that he receives Christ before he dies. My husband (Robin) has shared the gospel with John on several occasions and recently had the boldness to tell him he needs to get right with God. It could be today (I've got my ear to the phone, so to speak).

I was backsliden for 8 yrs and in that time I had a child out of wedlock with an unsaved women. We never went to court until January of this year. My son told his school advisor that he was being abused by his mother. She gave him to me last August for school. I had him during the week and she had him during the weekend. Well I went to court on her and got a protective order for 1 week. Social Services found nothing. Like they normally did. This was the 6th time they looked into her and the 6th time they found nothing. Please pray for my pastor, he woke up yesterday with seizures/convulsions and they do not know what it was from. They were unable to go to the ER because of insurance reasons. My youngest, Delia, was bitten by a tick yesterday. When I took her clothes off last night, I saw it attached to her shoulder. I have no idea how long it was there. It was small, round and black (as opposed to the common dog kind which are larger, oval and brownish). She just turned three. Please pray that she doesn't get a disease from this but if she does that we will have grace to bear it. :pray

My Father passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, where he wanted to be. He's now with the Lord and is no longer suffering. Through this experience I have had to locate and talk to my sister whom I have not spoken to in 15 years. It ended up that 3 of the siblings had to sign in order for the cremation to happen. My brother in Montana is having the papers mailed to him, and my sister and I will be electronically signing through an email or text. Hopefully we can get him cremated. It's all been paid for, but the theft of Pop's safe while he was in the nursing home brings problems as the receipts for the cremation were in that safe. UGH! But God is still good. -

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers.
