My mum just asked me to tell you that Taine needs prayer. Taine is a boy that our church has been praying for since his birth. He has had problems basically that long :sad . His parents are not saved, but God has kept him this long His 3rd birthday is soon and he is not expected to live that long unless he has a heart operation which he really isn't ready for. All- I have mentioned in the past that I work in boiler controls. This industry is rather niche, and lends itself to a family atmosphere. Yesterday a son of a former employee was working on a boiler when the boiler's door blew off and hit him in the head. The door then proceeded through the wall behind him. He is currently alive, but in very critical condition. Would you all pray for him. His name is Mark. His family would appreciate your prayers, I am sure. Thanks.

My brother's wife has gotten into gross immorality and is leaving them. she has racked up $8,000 worth of debt. Pray that God will help my brother pay that off quickly so that he can move the girls back to my parents' house (they have 2 houses on their property). Pray for grace as they transition to this new stage of life. Pray that God will not let my sister-in-law go, but will convict her mightily at every turn. Pray for me because I feel like a sword has gone through my heart. there isn't much I can do to help him since we are on opposite coasts.

Dear Brethren, We have been waiting a long time for this day. The supply company is dropping off the lumber Tuesday, the trusses on Wednesday, and we begin framing. Twenty-three brothers from the Christian (plain) community are coming out Thursday morning and are aiming at completely framing, setting the trusses, and drying in the the house...in one day! Our serve, which is part of how we earn our living, was hacked a few days ago. The destruction was so thorough we'll have to close it completely down. I'm now trying to transfer the accounts to a new server form backups as well as what little recent data is available on the server. Meanwhil I have three freelance clients with long todo lists expecting me to jumo on their work bright and early Monday morning. Needless to say I'm extremely stressed. I had to miss church this morning so I can work on restoring the hosting accounts, since the uploads fail mysteriously, needing to be restarted. There is this nasty woman who cusses with every other sentence and even takes the Lord's name in vain. She had got in my face (her bad breath, yellow teeth, etc.) and began yelling after I had told her nicely to show some respect to others around the office. I came so close to slapping her in the face but the Holy Spirit gave me the self-control to resist. Please pray that she'll repent from her filthy speech and rude behaviour and that the Lord will give her the opportunity to accept Him into her heart. Love, Madeline

Well, good news. Our deacon is doing better and he will probably get to come home today. He had some type of hernia surgery to correct a problem that he had last year. So keep praying for him, but also pray for his wife Judy. She developed a severe sinus infection while staying with him at the hospital. So, I guess that proves the old therory that if you want to get sick just go to the hospital. Bob

I have been constantly surrendering everything to God. Sometimes I feel like I haven't been trusting God enough because I keep giving him the same things over and over again. When I make the same mistakes I get sadder and sadder and feel like a failure. I know God loves me and I am 110% sure he lives in me. My aim is to live for him always. This morning at 4:00, my wife tells me to go check on Esther since she was crying. As I walked to her room, I could smell an aroma all too familiar this week. Sure enough, Esther and her bed were covered in throw up. I took Esther to the bathroom to get her cleaned up while Elizabeth tackled the bedding. I put Esther in the tub to rinse her off with our shower sprayer, but I noticed that the water (and other things) was not draining - our tub pipes were frozen. Elizabeth set up a space heater to thaw out the pipes and I kept cleaning Esther. After we got everything cleaned up and a load of laundry started, we all pilled into bed, Esther with us since her room stunk…

I was talking to a friend of mine and her son has parasites and has blotches all over his body he was in alot of pain and was sore from scratching them. It must be hard as a mother to see your son go through this she said she been to the doctor a few times but everytime he just writes a perscription for her doesn't bother looking at the problem. Please pray for strength for my friend and pray that the doctor would take interest in the problem so they can get to the bottom of this. My friends name is Ann and her son is Tim.

Well... I have 3 prayer requests. The first is for my uncle. Almost 2 weeks ago (you might have heard about it in the news), my uncle was in a horrible bus accident where the bus rolled several times (they were going down a windy mountain road). He's okay physically now, but emotionally, he's still a mess. He found several of his closest friends dead by the wreckage, and he's still dealing with the grief (as he's recovering from several broken bones). Please pray for the comfort of God for him.... The last couple of weeks since Christmas I have been worrying about my uncle. He was suppose to get surgery on the 16th on his kidneys but they canceled it. He is in a lot of pain and can hardly handle it please pray for him. He says he is saved but sometimes his fruits don't show it.pray that he will get another time to get his surgery. Also pray that I won't act weird towards people just because I am worried. Worrying is doubt and that means I wasn't trusting God to help my uncle pray that I will give this to him and everything else I need to give.

It just goes to show that when you pay something off (Jonathan's hospital bill was paid for yesterday finally), it usually breaks soon afterward. This morning, as I was getting ready to leave for work, I heard the familiar sound of vomiting from my boy's room. Sure enough, it was Jonathan. I guess his warranty expired, and now he is breaking down. I called my wife from work a couple of hours later, and Jonathan had thrown up a couple more times since the first time.

One of our deacons just had surgery on Monday. I'm not exactly sure what the surgery was for, but I just received word that he took a turn for the worse yesterday and is is not doing very well. His name is Bill Maynard. Thanks! Bob

Please keep a few of my co-workers in prayer...there are three that my friend and I have been trying to get in church but so far only one of the guys has come once. The two guys are Catholic and and the girl I don't believe goes to church at all but its sad she's only 16 and is (to put it delicately) not straight. So yeah just pray that God will work in their hearts- (and mine) cause I know I underestimate Him too much. ~Katie

Please pray for my husband's health. He's been quite ill for a few days now, and he went to the doctor today and had some tests done, and they told him he has a lung infection. He's still there now getting an antibiotic drip (the standard way they administer antibiotics here). And he'll have to go back tomorrow to get checked again to see if he's starting to get better.

A little boy of about 2 yrs old was in the nursery last night(1 of our reg. members child) had what we believe was a seizure and he quit breathing, for a ffew min. He appeared to be ok a couple hrs later, but please keep him and his family in your prayers thank you.

I would like to ask prayer for a 14 year old girl named Lena who has been abandoned in Nigeria. Progress has been made in contacting her. Please pray that we will be able to get her back to the US safely. This has been going on for months and we are closer than we have been to getting her out. Found out today that a Korean friend is going to be arriving at the Baltimore-Washington airport on Friday to stay at our house for several months. If you think about him, I'd appreciate your prayers. I first met him in Korea in 2005 and he got "baptized" while I was there and was really enthusiastic about learning and developing Biblical character. Unfortunately, he's gotten with the wrong kind of friends and they've gotten his focus off of God and he's more concerned with worldly things. The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
