Hello Online Baptist, I would like to ask that you pray for our church Cross Roads. We are starting our Spring Revival on May 3-5. I ask and pray that we will have people who will come to Jesus and be saved. I also ask that we pray that the Holy Spirit will be present and be powerful for us this Sunday through the 5th. Requests: I will be traveling with my wife and 3 daughters from CA back to TX via car for a family reunion (wife's side of the family) and her brother's wedding. The trip will be a total of 2 weeks (starting on the 5th of May). Also, my parents have slipped from God and it shows through their marriage. The are on the brink of divorce and really need to find their way back to God and a good Church. Prayer/Praise: My neighbors wife is pregnant for the 3rd time in less than a year (previous two ended with a miscarriage). More importantly, that whatever the Lord purposes in my travel, that I would be open to Him to recognize His purpose, and to act on what He reveals to me. I'm sure a lot of you guys prOBably remember Marcus around here(Marcus2Israel). He hasn't been on here a while but a short time ago rejected Christianity and is a professing atheist. He's having a rough time and has really embraced atheism, evolution, etc. He really needs our prayers but he seems to have a lot of bitterness towards Christianity right now that he has to work through. Pray that God will bring him back to Him.

Please pray for my son Andrew...as some of you know, he has had chronic autoimmune urticaria (chronic hives, caused by internal immune system issues) for three of his five years now. He's been on so many different drugs for it. For the longest time he's been on four pills morning and night and the hives have slowly been getting worse instead of better. This week on top of his other drugs he has started cyclosporine, which is an immunosuppressant that people take who have had organ transplants to keep the body from rejecting the organ. He is taking it on a lower dosage than they would use, but its supposed to calm his immune system down and hope that it resets it an…

In Memoriam : Roger Arnold Bro. Roger, a pastor friend died April 6 after a long hard battle with cancer. Several years back we had many conversations about Jesus, God, the Bible. In the latter years our paths even though we live around a small town did not cross many times. He invited me to his church to preach a few times, I suppose that has been more than 10 years back. I was always made welcome and felt right at home. I feel sure his family would applicate any and all prayer during this time.

Pray for a family in our church. The father died in his sleep last night. It came right out of the blue as he was in perfect health. His family has been faithful members to the church for almost 20 years. They started riding a bus in to church and eventually the entire family was saved because of that. He also worked in several ministries of the church helping out.

She has spent her life serving God and all who needed help. I have never been a believer, but I could always be wrong, and this lady has impressed me beyond all reasoning.

I want to ask prayer for the John Esh family. They were on their way to a wedding Friday morning and were killed when a semi lost control, came across the median, and struck their van. They were all killed except two little adopted sons of Leroy and Naomi Esh. On Saturday March 20th, Darlene, the children, and I, sat in the dining room of Leroy and Naomi's and had lunch. We had such a lovely time. The children played and the fellowship was sweet. Afterwards we went over to John's and we boungt a couple a singing CD's they have produced, (the proceeds to to their mission work in Brazil where their son Elmer currently resides.) My church is holding their annual mission's conference where missionaries that we support come out to preach every night for about a week. At the end we decide (as we've been praying previously for God to guide us) on an amount we will give to missions for the entire year. I would ask that you pray those missionaries that are traveling that they arrive here safely, that our conference goes smoothly and that God does give us the wisdom or even an exact number of how much we should give this year. Folks, here in the 4 corners area (SW Colorado) we have had snow on the ground since Christmas. Finally, for the first time since December.. I can look at my yard with no snow. But, I just checked weather and there is a winter storm warning out for tonight and tomorrow. It seems that it snows some every Saturday and Sunday... And it snows on Wednesdays. My son (recently married) has been looking for a jOB for some time. He has been working part time at Lancaster Bible College and might be offered a full time jOB soon. He was also just recommended to Crown College. They have an immediate opening for someone with his qualifications. Pray that the Lord leads!

This poor guy just got in trouble for giving me his number. His wife called up crazy after he explained he never went out with me but my friend, back in HS. We stayed friends and darn good ones. He was liked by my ex-husband. He's a family friend. Now he has had one BAD break after another. This is the topper. Please pray that his wife forgives him for being my friend. He lost his jOB and got involved with some shady characters. I would appreciate prayer for my mother-in-law. My hubby got a call this morning that she was having a hard time breathing and that, because of the weather, the ambulance was having a hard time getting to her. They got there and got her to the hospital, praise the Lord. We've not heard anything yet. She has had severe heart prOBlems in the past and has had two occurrences of cancer. She's in her late 70's. And she is saved, so we are thankful for that. Thanks.

I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
