Hello, I am relatively new here but have read and learned a lot in the last month of membership. My wife and I have had some health issues recently and are desiring wellness soon. I have had an MRI this past Wednesday and have to wait until Jan 18th for the results. We and our church have been praying for a good report and would appreciate more believers' prayers that nothing is seriously wrong. I am only 42 and have four children. We have been IFB baptist for past 2 years and are active in church and doing God's will. Thanks again for this website and the prayer support. God Bless, Jerry

This past summer on July 29, 2010 my 2 year 8 month grand daughter slipped out her back door without anyone knowing. Went next door to my parents house, climbed the fence and fell in the swimming pool and drowned. Medics were not able to revive her. My parents were not home at the time. This was a tragic accident. December 18th would have been her 3rd birthday. I am sure there will be many troubled hearts during this time. Please prayer for the comfort of the family. I look forward to the day we see her again. I earlier had ask for prayer as we were taking my daughter Elizabeth to the doc for her eyes. As it turns out he said she has iritis which is an inflammation in the of the eye and could cause blindness. Seems it can be brought on by early juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. We have started a high dose regime of steroids in her eye (left) and a heavy duty dilator that if put in the wrong eye will dilate it for 2 weeks. Back to the doc Thursday morning. Beloved brethren, Would you please say a prayer for my dear mother, yesterday she had a fall and injured the shins of her legs, she required 18 stitches in one of them! Please ask the Lord to help her to recover fully and also for pain relief. Mostly though, please ask Him to save her soul, she is lost and without Christ, her name is Diane. Our church recently put together a Christmas flyer that will be sent to all the homes within 25 miles of our church. 8,300 flyers. Please pray that God would begin preparing hearts and that people would be saved and that we would see visitors to our church as a result. God bless.

Rome Wager (way-ger) A dear brother and servant in Christ,is in the hospital. After becoming dehydrated his kidneys shut down and the took him to the hospital, in the process of treatment they gave him and antibiotic that did not react well, so the gave him another antibiotic. It turn out he is allergic to the second one and his liver is now shut down. Rome tells me he is in a lot of pain, ( and for him that is pain, rodeo evangelist, and saddle bronc rider). He is asking for pray and he is one of those that don't ask for himself. Please pray for him. Thank you from Bro Jim.

Just found out my Grandma was found unconscious this morning and they found a big brain tumor. She is now being taken to Fargo. Please pray I am not sure of her spiritual condition. She made a profession many years ago and was even baptized. Only God knows.

Our Late Pastors widow and grandson were in a car wreck Sunday night after church, she had some swelling of the brain and had surgery, and thank God she seems fine now, the grandson was just bruised, please pray for her, also a man from our church has passed away of cancer, his wife needs your prayers, also not part of our church but they have been here a few times, the Hinkle Family Lost a family member in a car accident this week. Just seems to have been a rough week, Thanks in advance.

It is wonderful to see that our custodian is doing well, but yesterday I learned that we had another tragedy. A teenager that was reached by our church bus ministry was hit by a car after school and died early this morning. I don't know him but he got saved and baptized at the church a couple years ago. His father does not attend church with him so we are praying for them during this hard time of losing a child and further praying that if they are not saved that they will come to Christ and start attending church regularly. Please also be in prayer for the young lady who hit him and her family. This is something that will be with her forever and I pray she overcomes guilt…

Members, I am in dire need for some Prayer. I have been going through some rather tough times in regard to some personal issues. I need to stay on tract with the Lord and not let outside influences overwhelm me. Also I think I just need to get up and leave the place I am at, for the mixture of persons is not spiritually healthy.

The other day my son was tracing a tract I wrote and was copying the front. He then wanted me to write down what I had on the back. I told him if he wanted to make a tracts he should make his own. Several people at my office were abuzz with excitement over a new Harry Potter movie that has apparently been released. That took me by surprise because I thought these were children's movies, but apparently the infection has spread to adults who should know better. About a week and a half ago the custodian for our church/Christian school suffered two strokes and has been hospitalized in CCU ever since. From what I understand the gentleman is fairly young (I have never met him). I think he has a teenage/pre-teen aged daughter. His family is going through a very terrible time right now and our church is in a lot of prayer for him and his family. He has brain damage and is extremely limited in any response he gives. Tonight I was requested to be on our churches board of Christian education. After a brief talk with our pastor, I accepted. I won't begin at this post until January and it's a 3 year position. Even so, I request your prayers that I might be prepared and suited for the position. May the Lord use me as He will in this position and may I ever seek His will, not my own. Please pray that all of us on the board may work together in the Spirt, that we may be in harmony and of one accord for Christ. My sister may have cancer! Please pray for my sister Lisa. She recently found out she has two lumps on her breast and also a baseball sized tumor on her uterus. She is waiting to take some tests to find out if it is cancerous. Number one concern is for her salvation and second healing. Please be in prayer. God bless.

My wife and I need prayer. This is rather complicated and I could get very long winded, but will try to keep it short. My wife has was saved in her teens and has been loyal to church attendance throughout the years. I was saved in 1999 (in a Nazarene church) and have only recently really "grown" in the last 4 years since finding my current IFB church. Our Pastor's daughter passed away early this morning. Please pray for the family of Bro. David Gonnella. Their Daughter Beth was just 2 weeks shy of turning 26. She left behind her Mother, Father, Little sister, and companion dog. She was a wonderful woman that has served the Lord her entire life, even through all the pain she was in (Chronic Migraines). She was a Sunday School teacher, Pee Wee club (Wednesday night children's church) teacher, Organ/Piano player, and many many more things to us all. We will all miss her so much. Thank You.

Please help me pray for some family members of mine that are not living right. My brother is 31 and will say he was saved as a young boy but I've never once felt his testimony to be true. He has lived a crazy life many of us would be appalled at. Even still he refuses to hear my mom or I tell him that he is living wrong. I just received a call from Karen Moore. The five year old grandson with the breathing prOBlems was released from the hospital today. On the way home they were in a car accident where they were broadsided. Both the grandson and his other grandmother have been airlifted to Springfield MO (near their home). All we know is that the Grandson was covered with blood. Please pray that everyone is OK. An extra prayer for Karen would also be appreciated.

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around lately. OB has, for a good while now, not been working right for me, plus it seems to take even longer to load than it used to (dial-up...:-|). I had my Dad die from cancer back in June of 2000, and I couldn't be there for his death. I was there just a few weeks before he passed. My birth father has pushed everyone away except for his grandchildren. My relationship with him has been tenuous at best. My niece just sent a text telling me that he is unresponsive, but still breathing. He'll probably pass away in the next few hours. -

Folks, A brother here at OB developed an online download KJV Bible for PCs and Phones. I recently had to do a phone factory reset and lost the app and the saved link address. Anyone here have that link or know the brother, sadly I can't remember who he was. I must have turned 71 on November 1st, can't remember like I used to 😱. Thanks in advance. -

My birth father's hospice nurse and doctor have given him a few days at the most to live. We have witnessed to him several times, sent him Gospel tracts and prayed for him for the past 40 years. He did ask for a preacher to come and talk to him, and my niece's pastor went and talked to him. At any rate, Pop can't keep anything straight now, and his organs have started to shut down. I spoke to him for just a few minutes last evening and told him I loved him. I know I won't be able to speak with him again. His passing will bring it's own set of challenges as my stepmom is starting to go into full blown Alzheimer's. There's only her sister left to care for her after Pop passes. Please pray for this whole situation and for my Pop's peaceful passing. My wife and I won't be able to make a trip up to Corydon IN , and he wants no services or memorials. Thanks in advance BT -
