I just praise God for what He is doing in our church. Of course as a church grows, the problems grow too and we have seen a few minor ones. However with our new youth pastor we are really seeing some positive things being done in the lives of children and teens in our church. We are seeing teens that only came occasionally now coming weekly. We are also seeing changes being made in a couple families of teens. The youth pastor is going to be working on trying to get a few of the teens into the local IFB Christian school that we fellowship with. Its just exciting to see these things! Its amazing how open families can become once someone focuses on THEIR children. …

Today 10/21/07, He is 25 years old and a father of 1 and a son on the way, after a long 10 year battle with Satan, He, before the congregation thanked God for the words of his fathers preaching(me :pray ), he quoted John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. I am overly excited and emotional. THANK YOU GOD :amen:

Last week, while in Iowa, we needed to get our van fixed (for the third time for the same thing). It has been leaking oil, but no one can find out where from. We took our van to a man in my parent's church who owns a repair shop. He found the lead and fixed it. Of course, he needed to charge us for the work and such - a little over $200. The leak is finally fixed! Well, my wife told me last night, "By the way, did I tell you that my mom gave us a check for $200?" :amen:

My wife took the kids and visited my mom. My mother recently changed her bedroom colors and comforter. I guess she decided that we needed a new comforter for our bedroom also and my mom gave my wife a check for $300. I am sorry, but I can't spend $300 on a comforter. We did buy one, but it was on sale for $50. The rest of the money is for other needed expenses.

God has blessed me greatly in so many ways and He is always good! I have had a rather discouraging week and God has just poured His blessings out and lifted me up. I had been praying about my second job and thought I may lose it since the office I clean was relocating. This job helps to pay the tuition for my daughter to go to Christian school. Not only did I get to keep the account but my boss gave me a raise because the people said they were pleased with my work. I also have heard good news about a young girl I have been praying for who was abandoned in Nigeria and things are looking very good for her to get the help she needs to come back to the USA. I am so thankful…

My mil (mother in law) was attending church; we had 1 baby and didnt know the Lord. Our marriage was in the pits, and we were pretty wild. His mom was concerned about us, so she told my dh that she was going to send her pastor over to speak to us. I had the unfortunate problem with dh, that on saturdays he would let the jehovahs witness people come in and talk to him; he didnt know anything about the Word then, but he knew that they were wrong; he would always argue---well, I had enough, and he didnt tell me her pastor was coming over. The saturday he came, I saw this man (who looked like a jh) come towards our house; my parents lived across the street, so I started runnin…

I was not born in a church going family in Northern California. My mom took us every once in a while when my brother and I were little. Then my Great Aunt took me to church (not a baptist...not many of my churches I went to were) when I was about 12. While going with her and my cousins I was "saved". I had no idea what that meant....I did know I believed in God and Jesus, but did not know what it was to be saved or how to be saved. I repeated some sort of prayer... Shortly after, I stopped going (Bunches of divorces in my family...my parents started it, then my Dad's 2 sisters, his dad and my step grandma, and my Grandpa's brother and his wife (the one that took me to chu…

I was raised in a Catholic home. I even went to Catholic High School. No one in my family really seemed to care much about going to church. I always wanted to go and even told my parents at one point I wanted to be a nun! Well at the age of 16 I became completely rebellious and after something pretty bad happend to me I ran away from home. I joined a carnival and that is where I met my ex husband. He also had run away from home. We ended up marrying at the age of 18 and had a son. He was very abusive and drank a lot and ended up leaving me and our son for another woman. He divorced me to marry her because she was pregnant. I was devastated and ended up in another horrible…

I know this might be a little long, but please if you take the time to read it all, you will see how He can take even the worst of us, up out of the "miry clay and place us on solid rock"! Am I Really Different? When I was a little kid I remember thinking there was something different about my family. We felt as if we had everything when in actuality we had very little. Everyone in my family seemed to have hearts of gold which kept my family very rich. My father had to work for little more than minimum wage, even though he worked harder than most will ever have to. My mother worked but became disabled when I was just a young teenage…

Well over here in Perth, Western Australia, we just finished our annual fellowship meetings, with just few visiting preachers from "over east" and a lot of more local folks. The theme was Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his image. And the Preachers were all asked to preach that theme from the Psalms. All I can say is that with good preaching, the opportunity to renew old and establish new friendships, and the kind of singing you only get with a room full of people who actually want to be there praising God, I just can't help but be refreshed. Whenever I get t…

I have really fallen down on my Prayer life, Bible Study and Church attendance over the past few months and I feel so ashamed. After confessing to and being forgiven by the Lord; I believe that confessing it to my friends and family will give me 'several someones' to be accountable to. I'm looking forward to that accountability keeping me focused as I make a concentrated daily effort to make changes in my life for Him. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) I plan to use this as my platform for keeping up with getting back on the right path of my journey. Feel free to reply to …

I just want to thank the Lord for all that He has done!! I praise Him for the bus ministry at my church. We are going to be starting our bus ministry in a couple of weeks and I praise God for it!! We had it about a year and a half ago and my old pastor resigned and our pastor now took our church, and it was postponed for a while. We were praying that God will send us some willing and have a burden for the bus ministry with thier CDL and God has put on people's hearts in our church to get thier CDL and they have only got a few more test to do, and then we will have our bus ministry officially! I thank God for it! Going out and visiting these kids that come from a variety o…

My boss came into my office on Monday and said that he was going to give me a $.50 and hour raise, and that he is going to pay for all my health insurance costs for the next three months! This will free up over $1200 for me. Honestly, this could not have come at a better time.

This was sent to me by my pastor - I did not read it till today, and thought it was definitely worth passing on. An amazing true story about how the kindness one does for another can back to you. Who was the Mystery Soldier who left the hospital so quickly? Yoni, an Israeli Defense Force soldier stationed in Hebron, was shot by an Arab terrorist. It happened very early in the morning, and no one else was awake to hear it. Yoni passed out and was bleeding steadily, his life was heading toward a silent end. But another soldier stationed nearby heard the shot and went to investigate. He found a fellow Israeli soldier bleeding to death. He tried the best he could to s…

Hey guys and gals just wanted to see if I could get some of you to share your testimonies with me. I enjoy hearing about how people have accepted Christ as their Saviour. Mine is quite simple I guess I was born and raised in a Christian home we went to church everytime the doors were open. I walked the isle a couple times but it wasn't real. I was just doing what I thought I was supposed to do. Then one day I walked into the preachers office after several days of torment because of the Lord speaking to me about my salvation. Bro. Mike Orsini then lead me to the Lord. since then I have for the most part tried to serve the Lord, but I failed and backslid hard I have be…

I have great praises to sing to the Lord! I have come through a heart procedure successfully this week. It was not a common one and yet I had peace going in and comfort during my fast recovery, thanks to Jesus. Read about it if you have any interest: Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is the type of arrhythmia I had. It occurs more frequently in females, and it is not generally a result of other forms of heart disease. My heart-rate toped 240 several times in the past couple years, happening more often recently; resulting in more trips to the E.R. and admittance to the hospital each time. Catheter ablation is usually the cure and I am hoping it will h…

First, what a wonderful week this has been. God blessed our revival meeting all week long. Four souls got saved (one was a dear friend), the alter filled every night. Evangelist Chuck Cofty of Sharper Sword Ministries brought convicting messages every night. Second, Early Tuesday morning God answered prayer and preformed a miracle in my family. My wife Gail has a disease (which I can?t per nonce or spell) that affects her brain stem. She has been in a wheel chair for the past three years. She could only take 2-5 steps then have to sit down or pass out. Early Monday morning I had to call rescue for my wife due to breathing difficulties. They admitted her to the hospit…

Yesterday, my wife was trying to do some painting on the outside of the house and watch the kids at the same time - hard to do! A van pulled up in the driveway, and out jumped a missionary friend of ours and told my wife that she was taking the kids inside and watching them for her while she painted. While inside, this friend took it upon herself to straighten up the house for us, also. All I can say is WOW, and angel came and visited us yesterday. I just found out that this friend is at my house again today so my wife can paint (as much as she can since she is not feeling good).

I got paid by two of my customers, one of them ordered something out of the blue and sent the money in advance, and the other paid for the rest of the weeks labor in advance. Then tonight when I got home from working on her place my oldest son's boss gave us two hogs for free to raise up and butcher or sell. Isn't God GREAT! C

My name is Sadie. I am nineteen years old. The Lord had Grace and Mercy on me, and I was raised in a Godly Christian home with parents who love the Lord with all of thier hearts. There has never been a day that I have not been blessed! I thank God each day that I was raised with parents with convictions and saved by the Blood of the Lamb and serving Christ with all that they have. Growing up in a Christian home does not make you saved. I was lost as can be and on my way to hell. I made a profession of faith at a young age, and at that time I did not fully understand salvation. And I lived my life, as I were saved, because I was brought up in church, and taught to dress an…

God is Wonderful! He is truly our Saviour, Lord, Master, and King! Glory to His Name! I am so blessed to have His love. I am so unworthy and I have so many faults, and yet when I am at my low, He lifts me on the mountains high. It is only by His grace that I am here. The life that I live is to serve Him! I thank God for each trial that I face, and each tribulation that comes along. It helps me to trust in Him more. So many people are so ungrateful and so uncontent and what we don't realize is that we are abundantly blessed. If we were never to own another item of clothing, we are still blessed. We are Blessed by our Lord! Oh Look at what we do have and what we don't have.…

. . .my neighborhood last night. 70 mph winds and hard rain. Our house was spared any damage. There are trees one block away that are now lying across the street. Many large branches ripped off tree trunks. We do have one big branch hanging over my bedroom that needs to come down before it falls onto the house. At my parent's house, they lost a large pine tree. And their cement deer (heavy thing) that stands on it's four legs has buried it's nose in the ground.
