Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am new to this forum. I have been a baptist all my life, but became and IFB in high school, after my friend invited me to her church. I was saved my Sophomore year of high school at a public school revival my church was hosting. I was baptized shortly after, and began becoming involved in that local church. Hello. My family and I attend a IFB church in Illinois. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in 2005, my husband accepted the Lord a few years before me. I praise the Lord so much for my salvation and and praise Him also for my husband who is also a Believer. As for my children, I do believe my little girl (age 7) is also saved, I am seeing some growth in her, but I am not so sure about my son, I have not really seen any growth in him, my heart is so heavy and burdened for him, he is 18 years old and has depression, he has asked Jesus to save him, but I have not seen any growth in him or desire for the Lord. I found this outfit this a.m. while looking for a good IFB bible commentary suggestion. I think I found something I like and when my boat comes in I'll get it. hi! i'm hoping this will post cuz tho signing in worked from my validation link in the very first email from here, it also posted an error message and I am clueless. oh well, we'll see. Yesterday I got to lead someone to hte Lord! Isnt that awesome!!! I'm a homeschooling mom who are now all homeschooled, and OUT! out of school that is. I homeschooled them all k-12. We are an IFB family KJV only and do a bit online. It IS a bit dangerous to have internet at home with younger children and I did not have it when tey were younger. Now they are all over 18. All 5 of them. I did not get saved until I was 38, a long time ago. I thank the Lord for my salvation!

My name is Wesley. I attend a small IFB church in Kenly North Carolina. I was saved at the age of 18 fresh out of high school (Thank You Lord) I am now 34 with a wife and 3 beautiful boys. I look forward to communicating with fellow believers. Coming from a small church in an area with 10 churches in a 10 mile radius (out in the country no less) really makes it hard to stand out. Hello all. I am Aaron from Dayton OH. I attend Charity Baptist Church in Kettering Ohio (IFB) I am KJB from my youth. God has placed the responsibilty in my hands to bring the gospel to an assisted living facility each and every Sunday. We have seen a dozen or so saved over the the 4 or 5 years in this ministry and each one of them missed Hell by only weeks. Praise Him for his never ending mercy!! I also am a guitarist for the Lord and his people ONLY, I never play any other music than Christian! Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
