Very true! It's such a shame to hear those songs basically butchered by someone trying to sing them in a way they were not meant to be.

Whew, glad to be able to get back on the site again.  Been unable to get on for days . . . . going into withdrawels.  Hate it when that happens.

I know the feeling Pilgrim.  I was away on top of a mountain at Mt. Zion Baptist Camp all last week, with zero access to anything online or any cellphone coverage.  I entire week completely disconnected from the world.  It was wonderful and disconcerting all at the same time.  I will confess, the second my cellphone got a couple of bars on it, I was scrambling to check my email and such.  I have been thinking about this for the last few days and wondering if I  should try a 30 day fast from any internet contact just to make sure I have not set it up as an idol in my life.
