That's good exercise! My rider was broken down earlier this summer so I had to push mine for 2 1/2 months.

I needed the exercise too but my body sure tried to rebel the first few weeks!

It didn't take long for my body to convince my mind I'm not as young and fit as I used to be!!

I suppose my paternal grandmother felt the effects of age but she was fit and active literally to her dying day. She was still working at 76, because she wanted to, not because she had to, and she laid down to take a short nap before going to work and never woke up.

she sounded like quite a woman

Yes, she was. My other grandmother lived into her 90s but had more health prOBlems and spent several years in a nursing home before passing.

I bet she was quite a woman in her day too

Indeed! I have a picture of her in the 1920s running across an area of road construction from when they first put a paved road through this town. Her future husband (my grandpa) is also in the picture as he was running a bulldozer.

It's a cloudy but very peaceful beginning to the day here. Hardly any sound at all. Only a few birds singing this morning. I did have a fine morning Bible reading and prayer time. May all our days be blessed of the Lord.
