There is supposed to be a temporary warm up coming.

 

I hope so in my old age I'm getting so that I like things like I like them & it don't happen that way to very often. 

 

Cold weather seems to hurt me all the way down deep inside my bones & I like to hide out inside were its warm when its cold outside!

Did someone speed time up or something? It sure seems like Thanksgiving and Christmas are approaching fast all of a sudden.

Could be! When I was a child this time of year couldn't come fast enough. Now it just seems like time is always going too fast!

Something about getting older makes time go by much faster.

 

My grandmother told that to me setting on her lap when I was just a young boy, I may have told she was being silly. Several years later I realized just how smart my grandmother was, & with time just flying by I can't help but think of that day setting in her lap.

 

Unbelievable that 2014 is so close to us.

When we are young we want time to go faster so we can reach this age, then that age, then another, and then be all grown up so "we can do whatever we want!" Well, by the time we are really grown up we learn that doesn't mean we can do what we want. We typically find out life was a whole lot easier and maybe even better when we were yet children!

 

As we get older we are no longer in a hurry to reach the next birthday but they sure seem to come quickly anyway. I can hardly believe our neighbor lady, who is one of our church piano players, just turned 60. It seems just such a short while ago when she reached that "old age" of 40!

Quite true, & it seems it took very along time to get to the age of 21, & from the age 21 to the age 66 going on 67 seemed to take place at the snap of your fingers.

 

Linda & I was talking the other day about this, when we were in grade school the seniors looked very old & big, now they look as if they're still wet behind the ears, & even the State Troopers look that way!

It's a much warmer morning this Sunday than last. While I like the warmer weather, I know it won't last and really don't like the wild temperature swings. I'll be glad when it settles down and is more consistent for awhile. It would be nice to have a warmer than normal winter, but I guess we'll have to wait and see and just take what we get.

Yes, humid & warm today, them tonight the humidity has gone down along with the temp. Its that time of year were we in the south never know from day to day what the weather may be, it can change so fast.

Whew - storms yesterday, with lots and lots of wind!  Lots of tornadoes in IL, with some in IN.  Trees, telephone poles down.  Lots of people without electricity.  Thank the Lord ours didn't stay off, as it got colder pretty quickly.
