I didn't get to go to the service tonight but I will get to go to the one next week.

Do you live in the barracks.

My grandson in the Marines will not be able to come home for Christmas, he just has 3 days, & in May he is headed back to Afghanistan for the 2nd time.

Until I married I lived in the barracks. I had no problems with living in the barracks, for most the time I had only one roommate & we worked out of the same shop, part of the time we worked the same shift, I was walking distance of the shop I worked out of, & the chow hall was right next door.

when I lived in the dorms it was a small room and we didn't have a roommate. I could walk to work if I wanted to and the chow hall was right behind the dorm. I wanted out because people were playing their music way to loud and it was annoying.

During my Air Force days was the first time I ever lived with the benefit of central heating & air. It spoiled me. After I married I had to get unspoiled & live without it for several years.

I recall also. Before the Air Force I loved the water from our well out here in the country side of Arkansas, & hated city water. After going in the Air Force January 66, not getting back home until June 9, I could not stand to drink the water I had grown to love. City water tasted wonderful.

The best water I've ever tasted is the well water at the house I first grew up in.

We got some wet snow that covered the grass! It won't last long, probably only overnight.

After we moved into town after my Grandpa died I never drank much water again until this century. After all them bouts with kidney stones I started drinking more water, usually bottled water because I can't stand the taste of the town water. Before that I drank way too much soda.

I drank way to much pop before air force. now its not nearly as much... a lot more sweet tea than anything. still don't care for water. unless its is bottled flavored water.

I've always liked Root Beer! I've only recently found a couple diet kinds I like. It seems if I drink regular pop anymore it goes right to my gut! Like I really need a root beer belly!
