I used to love snow, until one year we got more than 17". Many chicken houses fell to the ground. Mine had some damage, but did not fall.

Had a good friend that had been in one of his chicken houses, as he stepped out the side door he heard a strange noise at the end of his chicken house, It came done like dominoes. With a big wave of dust rising killing 3/4 of the chickens.

Of course if he had not just stepped out, he would have gone down with the chickens.

Snow is great for the kids to play in, and I used to love that, but being older snow is just something that has to be shoveled, to be kept from becoming too heavy on the roof and something we have to be cautious driving in.

I would be fine with a light ground covering of snow for Christmas but otherwise I could do without the snow.

She's working part time in a hospital that's across the road from the college she's attending. One of the main reasons she's going for the RN is the much larger pay, plus RN's don't have to deal with as much of the "gross stuff" that LPNs and others do.
