Yeah, we have already seen the surge begin!

It does make one more thoughtful about their trips, doesn't it? I know we are more vigilant to do things on one loop than we might have been $2 a gallon ago.

Why don't they make normal gas cans anymore? I looked in three different stores today and didn't really like any of them. They all have these odd "safety" devises on them which make them awkward and difficult to use. I bought the one which seemed less of a hassle but I don't really care for it but hope it works well.

I wish I had got the can a couple weeks ago and filled it up then. Gas has gone up at least 25 cents a gallon in the past two weeks. Imagine that, just in time for nice driving weather...

Yes, I know what you mean about modern day gas cans.

I had a good old 2 & 1/2 gallon metal can, but a hole came into it, they don't make that type no more. Just those inconvenient plastic things to carry your gas in.

A neighbor of my dads had a new gas can last year and he was having problems with it. My dad walked next door because he thought he had mower problems but he was actually having problems trying to figure out how to work the gas can! They have so many odd "safety" features on some of them that they can be very difficult; especially for the elderly.
