I know what you mean Jerry. My youngest son, Travis, will be 12 on January 1st. I bought him a new Bible for his birthday and when I was putting his name in it and who it was from and the date I was really struck with just how fast time flies when I wrote January 1, 2010!

This year seems to have really flown by much faster than any I remember.

Yes, if these years go by any faster, I will miss way to much of them, yet the best I remember grandmother told me they pick up ever more speed with each new years that comes along.

I put that in our tomorrows bulletin for I got that idea from reading through a book of sermons by and old Baptist pastor of yesterday years.

In one sermon entitled, "The Quest For Immortality," he speaks of the school of science & the agnostic, he stated, if the scientist & agnostic would honestly use this simple formula, If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. John 7:17, they would have the answer to their every question, and would pitch their other formulas out the door, them turn and walk with God.
