other then RTS, I was playing battlefield, a FPS. I don't bother with MMOs.

I've been too busy lately to play any games, until of course one worthy of my time comes along.

Any time I kill now on games, I've just been playing some emulators to remind me of how much time I wasted in school, and can now re-waste it.

Well, I did read 100% of this thread, just kinda skimmed..

I play a bit of Americas Army. Don't have a lot of time for it though (or any of the other games I would love to play). The best part about that game is its free!

Free games are always good. It's a double kicker when you pay money that you spent time earning, only to waste time lol. I know I say games are a waste of time a lot, and don't get me wrong, I play games, I'm not standing on a pulpit here. I just keep in realistic in what they are.

I have some fun flash games I like to play, they are free, and a good way to turn the brain off so I can sleep. If anyone is interested, let me know I'll post some links.

What's your gamer name on AA? Mine is {Truth}Gray_Wolf-R (It'll change after a couple weeks tho, and the "-R" will be dropped. I'm a recruit in a clan right now).

I think the best RTS games on PS2 are the command and conquer ones. Any RTS is kinda a fun game though.

Can ya give me 24hr and I will. I just got done doing some FPS arcade tonight (big buck hunter pro) so I'm burnt up and going to bed. I hate how they are only in bars, makes my play limited. ( I look for bowling alleys)

On the up side, I just demolished some guy from MN who claimed to be one of the best in St.Paul, and he had to bow down to I and my friends shooting goodness, on the down side I've been up too late.

My friend and I have even put this game in our vaction.. we're renting a mustang to drive from wisconsin to texas this January and we already have a list of places along the way that have this game so we can "raid other houses" that's when we show up, do a round to take the high scores, and leave, knowing that some bloke had the highs for months and was very proud of it, and we just ruined his week.

I have a PS2, and pretty much every game. I'll dust em off and look what I got and see what I recommend for a good RTS. You won't find a AOE3 type game for PS2, but maybe like an AOE2. Depending what I find in my box maybe I'll just mail you some stuff. I played PS2 very little, I'm more a PC guy. Makes me wonder why I have a 360, a PS3, and a Wii... oh yea, now I remember, I got em free... lol... God is wonderful, gives you more then you need long as you give more then you should.

Rolf, maybe I should be a missionary to the RTS community... more people then germany to be reached lol...

Anyway, let me get back to you tomorrow. I get off work about 5pm CST, gimmi a shower, some R&R, so about 8pm CST I'll post on the best RTS for PS2 ok? Sorry but I just shot a bunch of electronic elk with a plastic gun and need to sleep . night

well, looking through what I got, black and white was a pretty good RTS, so is Dynasty Tactics , but I found Army Men RTS and started playing it today lol. I wouldn't call it a good RTS but it's just FUN!!! The story line in it just makes it so neat. You got sarge talking between each board shaking his head over what his guys keep doing.. very entertaining. the game itself? eh, kinda on the yuck side for a serious gamer, cuz it's pretty much 1 resource, about 10 units, it's well, ehh... but the story line makes it funny.

As far as RTS goes, if you're a serious gamer, you gotta go PC, cuz nothing beats using a mouse while hitting a dozen hot keys, all to pwn total strangers 3,000 miles away as you micro and start set your way to making experts into noobs so they call you a cheater... that's the best compliment.. Noob? That means you really whooped em... Cheater? That means you CRUSHED em

as you all speak of FPS, I always wonder... why is FPS so hard for people to get? they think the 20 kill guy is some sorta master uber expert, cuz everyone else has 7 kills, but he just knows the one thing in FPS that makes you an expert. it's one thing...

I know I am a girl. But I love playing co-op war games with my hubby. I think Halo (Xbox) is the best. Cant wait to play halo 3. We also play a few of the 2 players medol of honor games.

5 years ago, not a problem... now?

I'll ask a friend of mine who's more into the FPS scene then I am, find out which games have filters on them. Almost all games now put that garbage in, and the trend now is to not even offer the ability to turn it off.

(This is because of the rating system. Soon as you could rate a game "R" they didn't feel a need to make every game family friendly.)

Anygame where you're going to be connected to other players via cable, especially ones like halo that allow vocal chatter, you're going to be subjected to the most vial language that exists. Your two options are to only play online with those people you know, or to connect to a server in a country that you don't know the language, so as they scream swears you have no idea what they are saying.

I'll give a couple game recommendations in a day or two, soon as I hear from my friend.
