My grandma, My father's mother, passed away last night. I did not know about it until later because no one would call me.

I did not get to visit her often and was planning to earlier this month. I told my son I would take him to the nursing home so he could visit our grandmother. It is too late :(

She and my grandfather used to be a mormon, but they converted to baptist after my grandfather got serious burned in a house fire (he survived, but had to get major skin treatments).

I hope she is with the Lord and with my grandfather who passed away about 4 or 5 years ago. This will be hard on my dad, and I know he will drown himself in alcohol to cope this.
