I googled it....I am not a big Poe fan. But is from House of Usher.













At times he regarded the wounded soldiers in an envious way. He conceived persons with torn bodies to be peculiarly happy.
left off the last part it would give it away.

Yeah, except I taught 5th grade. The books you guys are referring too...are high school and college level reading. Now, if you want to talk about, "Little House on the Prairie" or "Sarah Plain and Tall"...I would know something. :lol

A long time ago, when all the grandfathers and grandmothers of today were little boys and little girls or very small babies, or perhaps not even born, Pa and Ma and Mary and Laura and Baby Carrie left their little house in the Big Woods of Wisconsin. They drove away and left it lonely and empty in the clearing among the big trees, and they never saw that little house again.
