Unexpected Trial/Revival

Please pray for us. We are in th emidst of an unsuspected trial right now. Our revival services at church are going good this week. There have been alot of decisions made but no souls saved as of yet. Satan is doing everything he can to keep myself and my family away from the services. It's very rough right now. We really need your prayers.

Is it a revival or evangelistic meetings? Originally a revival happened to Christians and brought them back to a more fervent obedience to Christ. Evangelistic meetings, however, are to preach the Gospel to the lost. It's important not to confuse the two. You wouldn't want your heart surgery done by an OBGYN and you'd prefer an OBGYN rather than a heart surgeon to deliver your baby. You'd want those handled by the ones specialized in those fields.

Evangelical meetings need a spiritual OBGYN and Revival meetings need a spiritual heart surgeon. I'd worry a bit if I saw too many babies being born during heart surgery. Now after heart surgery, that's when you'd want to see the patient being fruitful.
