I chose that we tithe and give to special offerings and that it's the church's responsibility - because that actually comes closest to what we as a church do. We don't have faith promise at our church, but we do pray about an amount that God wants us to give generally for the year. It amounts to the same thing, I guess, but is not limited to missions. Our church has a missions budget, and it is based on what comes in from the members (we don't lower it; hopefully we expand it from year to year to support more missionaries). I believe it's the church's responsibility, and I believe it is fulfilled by faith promise, free will or whatever kind of offering God leads the pastor and the people to have.

I give a set amount to missions every week in addition to my tithe and other offerings. I think it's important to give faithfully each week so we can support our missionaries every month.I also give money to visiting missionaries when the are at my church to help them with gas or expenses.
