Hi, my name is Sandra. I came across a link to this site while doing some research online. I come from a family with strong Baptist roots in both Fundamental and Southern Baptist Tradition, although I am not a member of any Baptist church any longer. I guess you can tell by my screen name that I am a deeply spiritual person.

I was intrigued by what I was reading through on this website and wanted to join. It has been awhile since I have had conversations with Baptists, outside of my family. I also live close to 2000 miles away from my family now, so it seemed like a nice place to check out and visit - and possibly ask questions and talk.

As far as introducing myself, well I am a married mom of 4 (16,13,12, & 9) two girls, two boys (boys in the middle). I live in Nevada, originally from Chicago, been in NV for about 5yrs now. I am a writer, (philosophy, poetry, and political op-ed journalism) occasionally). And I guess my biggest passion is that I am bible junkie, and theology research junkie. I have a massive library collection of Bibles, my favorite being my Ryrie Study (which is falling apart from over-use). So that pretty much describes me.
