So, over Christmas, my four boys have been, well, okay I love 'em, but sometimes they drive me pretty crazy. Haha. Ages 7, 5, 2 1/2, and 5 mos.

Since I have all boys, and young ones at that, I'm taking a poll from those who have teens or grown children, as to what is easier. Thanks!

Every kid is different. I have one who is difficult in some ways - he drives me nuts because he is emotionally immature and clingy and he can't seem to grasp or remember some things. I have another ( a girl ) who is very mischievous, curious and into everything!

For me, it seems to depend upon the personality and individual aspects of the child more than their sex.

Like Jess, we have one that's developmentally behind so he often acts younger, being more prone to under your feet and overly helpful.

As most here know, we have an older son that's just totally different from the rest of the family. He's not a "bad kid" per se, but he has a very self-driven heart that makes him think it's okay to do, or not do, whatever he wants simply because it's what he wants.

Our daughter was/is very independent. Did great in school, never in any real trouble, but very strong-willed and rather hard headed.

We have not been able to raise any of them the same as one of the others! So for us, there has been no, "We know what to do now" because they are each so unique that we have to adjust everything accordingly.

I'm not expert, but I tend to think that boys are more difficult as kids but girls are more difficult as teens. Guys tend to be more wild as kids but girls are much more emotionally unstable as teens. lol I mean, maybe it's different, but it I've always felt sorry for a guy at some point or another for his hormone-charged teenage sister. :frog

I figure about the same, though I don't have kids....

I have 2 sisters and 1 brother, and have baby-sat a lot... Girls are a pain when they hit 12, but boys are a pain when young....

I have no children ,but have baby -sat for friends and family .It really depends on the child ,I have seen rowdy boys and hard to handle girls at all ages .
