Ham

I'm not a fan of ham because I don't like pork. But I just realised today after someone had told me that ham isn't restricted to pork only, but can also refer to:

Ham is the thigh and rump of any animal that is slaughtered for meat, but the term is usually restricted to a cut of pork, the haunch of a pig or boar. Although it can be cooked and served fresh, most ham is cured in some fashion.

BTW, I eat way more Spam (smoked pork shoulder) than I do ham! :spam:

Prebaked, spiral cut and honey cured. :hungry:

I re-roast and smoke it in my roaster/cooker/smoker/grill and it comes out incredibly tasty and good. :drool:

I'm really not into anything involving pork right now, we've butchered 5 hogs in the last few weeks and still have two more to go, so I'm kind a tired of looking at pork in general. Maybe in a few weeks when the works all done it will look more appetizing.
