Administrators HappyChristian Posted May 11 Administrators Posted May 11 Aurora Borealis in the PNW tonight. Stunningly gorgous! The first two are directly overhead our house, taken at 11:45 pm. The third (with a view inside the house) is taken from the back deck at 10:45. The final was taken in the front yard 10:45ish. Did anyone else see the lights? Any pictures? heartstrings, TheGloryLand and Pastor Matt 3 Quote

Administrators HappyChristian Posted May 12 Author Administrators Posted May 12 Probable that it will show again tonight. I don't know if I'll be up for it or not...Fri and Sat nights are bad for sleeping for my hubs and me, so that's one reason we were up last night. But it was worth it, even with our being old. lol Quote
Members SureWord Posted May 14 Members Posted May 14 Did anyone read where this Aurora Borealis was man-made? I guess there was an experiment called HAARP taking place. This is why people in places that shouldn't have been able to see it were able too. I guess as far down New Zealand. wretched 1 Quote

Haven't heard any CREDIBLE sources saying this... just a bunch of conspiracy nuts. LOL Quote

Well people were seeing it here in NZ. I went out with two friends to have a look also, but we saw nothing. It was incredible the amount of cars going to see it though. Like a big festival was on..but there were no food stands or singers. Edited May 17 by MikeWatson1 Quote
Administrators HappyChristian Posted May 17 Author Administrators Posted May 17 Afraid I'm not on board the man-made idea. It was a huge solar geomagnetic storm that caused this. A much smaller storm took place the other night, and we were able to see the glow, although not the full show we had. Solar storms are not uncommon. Neither, really, are the northern/southern lights. The lights are not as common to see in most areas due to the fact that the storms are not as strong. Places like Iceland and Norway see the lights pretty much on the regular. This solar storm was the strongest in 20 years, which is why the show was so magnificent. HAARP can cause artificial light shows, but not all the way around the world - they cannot create enough energy to do something like that. I know that all men are liars, and I do know that there are things that happen because man is being dumb. But one facility in Alaska did not do this. Just FYI, their response to the idea: https://haarp.gi.alaska.edu/may-space-weather-faq And, btw, it is not borealis in NZ. The southern hemisphere sees Aurora Australis - southern lights rather than northern. Cousins, if you will, but not the same. Interesting that they are different and yet so similar. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth His handiwork. I'm on board with God painting our skies those few nights in ways that are just indescribable (although they are explainable for those who understand ionization heights and the different color results). They see a different Aurora in NZ. They should not have been able to see thisone unless, of course, the earth is flat. Quote

And this magnetic storm made it possible around the globe. And, no, the earth doesn't need to be flat for northern lights to be seen in the northern hemisphere and southern lights to be seen in the south hemisphere. Quote

I've got 4 college educated friends who are preaching this theory. Quote
Members SureWord Posted May 18 Members Posted May 18 By the way, the record flooding that took place in Dubai, was that the "heavens declaring the glory of God" or the result of them seeding the clouds? Or is this another conspiracy? Man can mess with God's creation. Just ask Hiroshima and Nagasaki when they experienced what splitting the atom can do. As far as the flat earth? I don't know but there are a lot of pilots who think it's flat and on a clear day with a powerful camera lense mountains can be seen from top to bottom hundreds of miles away. Mountains that should be well below the horizon. BrotherTony 1 Quote
