So far I've not seen anything in the Midwest to equal the beauty of much of the Southland. The Ozark country of Missouri and Arkansas are breathtaking, as are the Smokey Mountains, The Land Between the Lakes, Appalachia, Stone Mountain, and even the "simple" beauty of rural Mississippi, Georgia, the Carolinas...the picturesque rivers....

I better stop before I get misty...
