It's a good idea to have an updated passport if you ever want to travel outside your home country in the future (business, vacations, missions trips, etc) as it's such a hassle to get new ones issued. If it's already updated when you need to make travel plans it's one less problem to deal with.

I've never had a passport, and I probably never will. I don't feel the need to travel outside of the United States and Canada.

True. Biden is trying his best to make sure this happens. One more reason to want him out of office. He doesn't want an independent United States. The One World system is well on its way. Digital passports, digital currency, and everything digital so that every facet of our lives is under government control.

I believe you need a passport now to travel to Canada, however you can go to Puerto Rico

That's very possible. I haven't been there since 1979 with the exception of time I crossed over the border while on the lake fishing in 1980. Wow! 43 years can bring a lot of changes in policy, especially in light of the terrorist attacks of 2001. I have no desire to go to PR.

Yea, after 9-11 a passport is needed to go to Canada.
