All 3 of my kids were up at 4 this morning. I took Jonathan downstairs to try to get him back to sleep, but at 6 a.m. he had still not gone to sleep. I think I am going to bed soon!

My youngest is 10. I miss having little kids around the house. Treasure this time while you're in it, even if it seems burdensome. Trust me, it'll slip away way, way too quickly.

My youngest is also 10.

Even so, I'm looking forward to the day when his 14 year old brother moves out on his own and then he moves out on his own a few years following.

My wife says I'll miss not having kids in the house anymore, and likely as not she's right. Still, I'm looking forward to some peace and quiet, hopefully to be wonderfully broken up every now and then by grandchildren. :Green

I dunno, my dad was happy when we weren't little kids anymore, and now that we are all out of the house, he definitely doesn't look back. He likes his life the way it is, childless now. :lol

My dad is moving my sister and the kiddles back to the base tomorrow and then me back to college Lord willing at the end of the month. He says he'll miss me...my sister is still too close 3 hours away. My sister is a really needy child. :loco
