Members Bob from England Posted March 22, 2017 Members Posted March 22, 2017 At least 4 people (including a copper) have been killed in a terror attack around the Parliament building in London. It appears that a car deliberately drove into people on Westminster Bridge, then crashed into the gates at the Palace of Westminster. Several coppers were then stabbed and they shot the attacker, there is speculation there could have been 2 terrorists. This incident highlights, once again, the brevity and uncertainty of life; and that we all need to be ready to face the Lord. Indeed, we are only 1 heartbeat away from God's presence. Invicta 1 Quote
Moderators Salyan Posted March 22, 2017 Moderators Posted March 22, 2017 I heard about that at lunch! It seems somewhat... ineffective.... as an attack (except for the poor folks who were hurt). I'm surprised there wasn't a car bomb involved. Quote
Members Bob from England Posted March 23, 2017 Author Members Posted March 23, 2017 It appears that the terrorist was shot dead by Police. I fully realise that it was necessary to shoot him dead, because he would have gone on to kill more people but, in these cases, if the terrorist can be taken alive (and it's a big "if") then he has the chance to hear the Gospel and get saved. During the troubles in N Ireland there were terrorists on both sides who got saved in prison. One such person even became a Baptist minister in the North of England. Quote
Members swathdiver Posted March 23, 2017 Members Posted March 23, 2017 This is the trouble (if one cherishes personal freedom) of communistic open borders and Muhammaden immigration. Quote

It also would aid the authorities to question him, but as it is we don't have to have an expensive trial and put him in a secure? jail for 10 years then he would come and and be able yo do it agai, Quote
Members heartstrings Posted May 16, 2017 Members Posted May 16, 2017 This is just one result of a government denying freedoms to its own people, while giving free rein to its own enemies. Totally insane. fastjav390 1 Quote
Members fastjav390 Posted May 17, 2017 Members Posted May 17, 2017 As far as I'm concerned, and this may sound harsh, Europe deserves what they get. They've just about totally apostatized from Christianity and are allowing themselves to be invaded and colonized by Islam. Candlelight vigils, crying and hugs, free rock concerts and punishing those who speak up is not going to stop the madness. Quote
