Guest
Do you think Obama and Democrats are correct in snubbing Benjamin Netanyahu? Why or why not?
Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted February 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2015 No, if for no other reason than the immaturity of it.
Members John81
No. If Israel is an important ally, as well as a friend, then it would simply be good manners to politely welcome him and treat him with respect even if for no other reason (like common decency!). Members Genevanpreacher
Yes. After all they have nothing in common. Just as most Democrats have nothing in common with 'sense'.
Members ThePilgrim
Seeing as how they haven't been getting along for years and they have not hid their feelings for one another maybe Obama thinks it is his turn to do the snubbing because of Netanyahu's latest snub. Â They seem to be acting like children instead of the heads of supposedly friendly nations. Â Politics is politics. Members John81
Which is one of the reasons why this snub shouldn't happen. Obama hates those who don't worship him and bow to his whims which is the main reason for his obsession with taking shots at Putin and much of the reason for his dislike for Bibi.Obama has taken the time to welcome some rather unsavory people that didn't deserve to be welcomed at the White House. He should at least give a polite welcome to Bibi but his pride and love of Islam prevents him from doing what is right.
Members 1Timothy115
I put in a 'NO' vote. I don't believe snubbing is childish, I believe its classic liberal-progressive.

Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 2, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 2, 2015 Nope. BO is pouting because JB didn't ask permission - which he isn't constitutionally required to do - and the Dems are just following their Dear Leader. Worse than America percentage wise, no doubt. They are enemies according to the gospel. But desired souls because of God's love for the lost. Members John81
'God's nation' is full of lost people. Worse than America percentage wise, no doubt. They are enemies according to the gospel. But desired souls because of God's love for the lost.I don't know how accurate they are, but many are reporting a growing openness to the Gospel in Israel and a growing number accepting Christ. How many of these (and the numbers/percentages actually are small) are really being born again in Christ is questionable. Many who convert to Messianic Judaism are counted as new Christians even if they may not actually be born again and they are part of the Messianic Judaism which is akin to the Judaisers the earliest Christians had to contend with. Most Jews in Israel are secular Jews or consider themselves to be ethnic, non-religious Jews. These tend to look down upon Christians and Orthodox Jews.Israel is a complicated country and what one often hears from those who have actually been there tends to be very different from what one hears of Israel on the news or from groups or organizations which speak (pro or con) about Israel.
