The primary point that will help you make sense of dividing the Word rightly is regeneration. The miracle of the new birth, being born again, indwelling of the Spirit.

Not in the OT and not in the Trib. IMO when you don't rightly divide that then you do confuse others and yourselves.

Faith has always been necessary to come to God and to please God. Faith however had to be demonstrated in the OT and will have to again in the Trib.

The helps of signs/wonders and miracles (not the could be explained by chance or the law of averages) types miracles but OT type signs and those described in the Trib will be present once again to assist believers to continue in their saving faith. Just as those unmistakable signs/wonders/ and miracles were always present with Israel in the OT.

I knew a hyperdispensationalist who only preached on "Paul's Gospel" as the "Gospel" we were to follow today.

Deuteronomy 7-12 tells us what obedience to the law was for.  Israel's obedience to the law would ensure their salvation? No, Israel's obedience to the law would ensure their success in the land promised to them. Disobedience to the law would ensure curses upon them in the land and their ultimate removal from it.

Salvation has always been by grace through faith, and true-saving faith has always been demonstrated (not earned) by works.
