I have Pink Eye...

Is there any over-the-counter medication or home remedy for "Pink Eye?" I started to get this yesterday...and, I know for sure what it is...but, I don't want to spend the co-pay at the ER for a prescription (if possible.) Of course...it is Sunday... and I am missing church. :sad I know it is highly contagious. :eek

Whuh oh! I don't know what meds help that, but I'm sorry you got it! If you go to www.sermonaudio.com, there are sometimes some live videofeeds of churches services on Sundays. Some aren't baptist, but others are. I've enjoyed it because sometimes you can catch a service from somewhere like England or Scotland maybe.

A lot of kids here have pink eye. Not sure why.

Somehow I got it, too. Uh-oh. :badday: I dunno why, either? I haven't had it since my son was a little guy. It is so weird. :-S The only thing that I can think of is... it must be traveling in my church. The kids are all over the place. God bless them ALL. :wink I don't want to make any accusations, though. I could have gotten it anywhere this past week. :frog

Sadly, I am not only missing Sunday services...but, my MIL's and niece's birthday celebrations at my in-law's house today. =( I am blaming Satan on this one...of course, it is Sunday. :verymad:

Thanks, Katie. We know how the Televangelists don't quite cut it. :loco :lol I will check it out.

Hubby is depressed. We don't like to go to church w/o one another. I do...when he is caught in a meeting with a customer on Wednesday, occasionally...but, he doesn't like to be alone w/o me in service. I feel so loved. :smile

Our oldest son had pink eye a few years ago. They just told us to keep him away from his younger brother and to put regular eyedrops in his eyes. Other than that, just wait it out.

I'll pray you have a swift recovery and that it won't be too much of a bother for you. :pray

Sorry to hear about the pink eye. Staying committed and loving the wife, thats the way we're supposed to be. Your husband seems like a really great guy. BTW Yeah those guys on the television are something else. My mothers parents (adoptive) used to watch alot of them guys back in the 80's.
