Prayer Request For Brother In Error

Folks, a brother in Christ is in error.  Not exactly sure how to broach the various subjects he's in error on but they are many.  He spent years as a Nazarene and doesn't see any problem with them or with using MVs when the KJV "gets confusing".  His wife recently passed and I'm afraid he's going to leave a NT church and go back to another Nazarene church (his last pastor ran off with several hundred thousand dollars).  Incidently, he sees no problem with using his tithes and offerings for a tax deduction (recent conversation popped up here!)  Another time he said God would forgive all Catholics someday.  Goodness gracious!

At first I wasn't exactly sure of where to start but after prayer I'm pretty sure the conversation will begin with biblical salvation (not of works as Nazarene's teach) and then move on to the KJV and MVs.

I'm open to suggestions but more importantly, please pray for me and my friend and that the Holy Ghost guides me in such a way that my friend's heart and ears remain open to accept God's Word and that I do not cause him to shut down through errors of my own accord.

Please also pray for my health and that of my wife's too.  We're both in a lot of pain, she's able to soldier on while mine confines me.  My knees are a mess and my diabetes is not under control so say my doctors though I faithfully take my insulin everyday.  New doctor said most pains are due to side effects of being diabetic.  Supposed to start new medication on Tuesday.  My wife has a bad hip and shoulder that's in need of surgery.  If someone was praying that I get shoes, well the Good Lord provided and I have shoes on my feet again, thank you!

If the man is not saved then focus upon that, not on any of the other things at this point. Lead him through the Word to help him understand just what biblical salvation is. Help him to see salvation is not a matter of works, but only by grace through faith. Until he comes to accept this and is born again it's likely other topics will only serve to confuse him and distract him from the most important issue, the state of his eternal soul. Be a kind and caring friend through this and stay in prayer, relying upon the Holy Spirit to lead you while opening his understanding and preparing his heart. I will be in prayer as well.

It saddens me that the health issues you and your wife are dealing with are not better. It seems so many are under assault in their health, beyond what I've seen before. Our prayer list at church is full, almost all regarding health issues, and the prayer list our pastor sends us through email has even more names on it. My wife and I are both being hit as well. My wife needs a knee replacement but the insurance is dragging their feet approving the operation. She also has chronic neck pain due to severe arthritis in her neck and spine. She's had two operations for that but they can't do any more operations on her neck. My hands, especially my left hand, is being attacked by arthritis along with at least three other issues. No matter how bad it is, when I look at our church prayer list I see so many facing so much worse.

You and your wife are on my fervent, multiple times a day prayer list right here in front of me at my computer. Dave and his wife are also on that list.

I will continue in prayer, and I rejoice with you that shoes were provided.
