I am a very sick lady

My husband and I the last few weeks been exchanging viruses I think and colds also, however, I started coughing up mucus a few days ago and I was very sore doing so, on monday night I got so bad that I talked hubby to take me to the ER. When we got there, the triage nurse took me back to get a chest x ray, after the chest x ray, the Xray tech person brought me into a small room area with a few hospital doctor type beds, they said that I had a small case of phenmioua and I needed a shot to help me breath and breathing treatments, they put me on antibotics and some cough syrup with codine, I am still get scared everytime mucus comes up and tries , I am drinking lots of juices and water and going to start drinking alot of teas.

Do you happen to mean pneumonia? If so I had a bit of pneumonia in one lung in 2005, Wife had to call an ambulance, I was running over 104º of fever. It took me several weeks, & about three round of antibiotics after getting out of the hospital to get rid of it.

yes and I don't have a fever , I just have junk in my lungs, when I am sick I don't get fevers for some reason but it don't mean i am not sick, the ER don't
understand that, I am hoping to get better soon because i was looking forward to the nice weather outside and go to the mountains.

As I pray for others here, I am updating, I have some energy but still coughing up the storm.
I have a doctors appointment tommrow afternoon , to see if this is improving or where we stand with this. With Easter right around the corner and nice weather I don't wanna be sick for long.
