how can you skip through the commericals of the football game? I said she made me laugh at times not all the time , I have not watched her for several month now because , I was getting convicted, but I do like still Chevy chase older stuff however, the thing here that is entertainment , that is not more important in my life, whats important in my life is attending Church, reading the Bible , listening to Godly material and watching Godly material but sometimes I just pop in an older secular movie just because I am used to the move, I am used to Vacation movies and I don't act it out but I don't watch them alot.
As for this store being off our shopping list, my husband told me there is nothing to get there anyhow, even tho the manager in the Knoxville one was good to us and polite back in December, we will not be going back there, I rather go to modest apperal websites for clothing and future clothing for future children especially girls. I believe in having girls from young babies until they are married in long skirts and dresses.

As much as I hate going to the mall, I'll most likely go this week. I will let the JCPenny manager know that they have come off my list as a place to buy anything and that I will buy my suits at Sears. I will tell them precisely why they are off my list.

Since we were at Evening Service we missed the live start of the game. It was set to record however on the DVR so when we got home and settled we then began watching it from the beginning about an hour or so behind the live feed.

Ok, Vacation and it's sequels are a good example here. Now that you are older or now as a Christian (don't know your background), do you see all the digs against Christians and Conservatism in those movies? I sure do and what I once enjoyed I now abhor because the Holy Ghost gave me a new heart and desires. What would my testimony be if my church family knew that I was watching Full Metal Jacket, a movie that I grew watching and lived parts of it in real life before I was saved???

Couldn't agree more about ladies clothing, the Lord is quite clear on how we're supposed to dress.

The word "but" is nowhere to be found in this verse and those like it:

Ephesians 5:11 "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Yes I agree with you there and I fully understand, my whole family knows I like the vacation movies but, they don't put two and two togeether if its proper for a Christian or a person to watch it. But other then that we are very discerning on what we bring in the house.

What about the people who need work in other stores? Whenever you, me or anyone else decides to buy in one store, and not another (for whatever the reason) we are in effect "boycotting" the stores we don't go to and giving our approval and dollars to the stores we do shop at.

If enough people of principle stand up and refuse to shop at JCP until they return to family friendly policies, and that has an impact upon their income, they will realize the importance of the values of their customer base and return to family friendly policies.

I was saddened to hear that they hired Ellen. She is indeed a naturally funny person (I haven't listened to her since she came out of the closet). But we can't support a company who pays her. That's the reason I don't buy Cover Girl. And I won't get an American Express card either. I know my hubby will be disappointed. He likes the quality of their suits. But there are other places that sell suits...

Happy Christian, I forgot she did American Express, we don't do that either but not because of her it just that we are stuck with visa our debit card and our sears card that is discover card, we don't like credit cards but, we have a sears card if we need to purchase something with a credit card, we found out last year our sears card is a credit card LOL. Oh boy that opened a can of worms there with my husband and I, I don't trust having a credit card because , I think I can purchase stuff alot and want stuff, however I need to practice self control, I like to go to Good Will for suits for my husband.
