I'll wait and see what its all about before forming an opinion. If he stands there pointing to a pair of boxers on display that is one thing, if he walks on camera wearing a pair that is another.

However, "tasteful" is what the Hollywood set and Miss America always claim about posing nude so, we'll see.

The article says he'll be wearing them, so likely he won't just be pointing to them. If they're boxers, they at least are better than briefs (like the other athlete who advertised with this brand wore). Boxers are actually more modest than bike shorts ( ).

The media went into full attack mode regarding the Super Bowl pro-life commercial he and his mom were planning. And it was really innocuous. I'm wondering if this commercial will be the same type. Not that I'll ever see it...

Football careers = covetous for money, and of course, in this world, the America way, there is nothing wrong with seeking money by whatever possible route you may find. Yet remember, that is not the Bible way.

And of course this shows he will seek money in most any avenue that opens to him, not much difference in him and Joe Namath and panty hose.

And think of the influence he will have on many young boys looking up to him as their hero, they too will think its A OK to parade openly before the world in their underwear.

Sorry, but there are people, even professing Christians, that will model, and or be the speaker, commercials, for nearly anything, long as it brings them money.

One of those fellows that ran for the republican nomination last time now does commercials for reverse mortgage company and says he is proud to be associated with them. Of course he is, its all about money, the great America way. Yes, many will sell out their soul to the old Devil, even professing Christians, and be proud of it.

It's a great shame what professing Christians are willing to do for money, popularity and other trivial, worldly matters.

Professing Christian guys drink alcohol to look "cool", the gals dress like prostitutes to be popular, both are willing to work in wicked jobs or in wicked ways for the sake of money or taking a short cut. I've read of professing Christian women working as "dancing girls" (they used to be called what they are, strippers) because they can make so much money so fast and get their degree faster so they can get into their Christian career!

Of course with pastors who declare that hell isn't real, and therefore the Bible must contian lies, and proclaim that Jesus really isn't the only way to heaven, again this infers the Bible lies, and tells everyone if they simply have some positive thought in their head somewhere regarding God they will go to heave...well, if some pastors are like that, is it any wonder so many lay Christians are so worldly?

A porn "star" whose dad was a Methodist pastor claims she's a Christian and her "work" isn't sinful because it's "just acting". She says she reads from her Bible every night and knows she's okay with God.

How many of these professing Christians are actually Christians? How many are they helping to lead astray? Why is it that so few confront these questions?

This makes me think of all the professing Christians who take part in beauty pageants. How is putting your body on display in a sensual manner wearing evening dresses and swimwear Christ honouring? It seems there have been several professing Christians who have won or participated in the Miss America pagaents in recent years I've noticed a lot of Christian talking heads speak of how great this is, how they are such wonderful role models and how they really do a great job of representing Christ. I do hope that doesn't happen, but it is the trend these days to have their celebrities shown wearing the underwear.
