I registered a long time ago, but never really made many posts to speak of so I thought I would introduce myself finally. I'm a lay-preacher from Tennessee. Currently it's AWANA season, which I LOVE! I'm praying to see some young souls saved this year.

Once or twice a month a preach at a local assisted living facility, bringing the good news to those that can't get out to hear it. I'm happily married and the father of two wonderful sons. I decided to come back to this forum after other forums I am a member of just got to be too much. I need a refuge from the world!

Welcome back. Glad you rejoined us. My hubby and I take a group of folks to a nursing home every Sat. It's such a blessing to be able to minister to them. Just last week we were able to lead a married couple to the Lord!!! It saddens us when they die, but boy, oh, boy has it been wonderful over the years to see some come to Christ!

I agree with your comment about a refuge from the world! I joined another so called Christian forum and found myself falling closer to sin. It got me good. I made a fool of myself. Finally I learned about this site and so far it seems very Christ-like! :)

Thanks Guys! I looked around at a few other Christian forums, but so many of them seem to be an envirmonment of atheists looking for a fight or for people spreading misinformation. This place looks safe, so far! :D
