Hi all,

I'm turning my back on my teenaged profligacy, and the liberal excesses of my past.

Time for a new start - and I'm deeply involved in my local baptist church.

I wanted to keep an open mind and become immersed in the most wholesome teachings I can find.

That's why I'm here. I know I have a lot to learn, and I can take criticism.

Any advice for a new Christian? I'm willing to abide by it.

Jeremiah 44:5 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.
Time for a new start - and I'm deeply involved in my local baptist church.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
That's why I'm here. I know I have a lot to learn, and I can take criticism.
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Any advice for a new Christian? I'm willing to abide by it.
John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

The Lord has already seen you and cares passionately for you. He will be your sustaining power and reward. Seek Him early each day through His Word, give Him all the glory in spirit and in truth. Let Him speak to you through His Word and you speak with Him through prayer. You've taken the right first steps.

Thank you. I'm glad to have found an uncompromising stance - really looking to find some biblically-based teaching. This site looks a great way forward!
